Quichapa Kennels

We are very satisfied with our experience at Quichapa Kennels! We recently sent our 1 year old puppy Murphy to obedience training for 4 weeks. She had some behavioral issues that were hard to break her of at home. She struggled with not listening to simple commands, pulling on leash when walking, digging holes, chewing things up and separation anxiety. Happy to say this training with Dallin has been a night and day difference for her, and us! She is a well behaved dog who listens to commands, can walk on and off leash without leaving my side and is much a calmer dog which has resulted in hardly no anxiety behavior. Dallin and his wife made sure to send weekly updates and pictures of Murphys training progress which was an added bonus to the whole process! On pickup day Dallin was very thorough explaining and helping me understand how i need to continue training Murphy at home. We are so impressed with the care and training Murphy received from Quichapa Kennels. 10/10 Recommend!!

The staff is not only knowledgeable but also truly cares about the well-being of every dog they work with. Our vizsla's high energy level made it hard to train him at home. But thanks to Quichapa Kennels, they worked real miracles with him! The training techniques they used were not only effective but also simple, and we could see such a transformation in our dog—his behavior improved dramatically, and his confidence grew. We’re absolutely thrilled to see him progressing in his training, and my husband is now eagerly looking forward to bird hunting with him, something we couldn't do with our previous vizsla, due to some bad experiences with another trainer. The team at Quichapa Kennels is nothing short of amazing. If you're looking for a place that will treat your dog like family and provide results, this is it! Our 2yo dog who had behavioral issues, (jumping all over people, mouthing our arms, pulling on leash) did the month long training. We appreciated the videos/pictures, text messages, her updates, and good communication while our dog was there. We are grateful for their help. We enjoy our dog so much more now, and it has made it manageable to take her places, because she now listens! The e-collar was a game changer!! It was so good for her and us! Thank you. So worth it. We sent our 7 month old puppy to the month long training program here and he just got back a few days ago. He has always been the sweetest pup, but wanted to be everyone’s friend. Once he got around 40 pounds this excitement became difficult to control on walks and it was extremely stressful when we had to take him out. We just didn’t have the skills to help him learn what he needed to. After we picked him up it’s like we have a whole new life with him! He’s still the sweet silly boy he was before but now he is so confident when we take him out. He knows exactly what he needs to do and not do and listens better than we ever could have hoped for. We actually look forward to taking him on walks now, which didn’t seem possible a month ago! We are so grateful for this training, he truly thrived with it. The trainers are all the sweetest people you will ever meet and you can just tell they love dogs. We have been recommending this program to everyone, it is the best decision we ever made for our dog!
