Ramella's Canine Academy

My 11 month old Cavapoo was showing severe signs of aggression and tried to attack me one morning. I tried calling everywhere for a behaviorist, but Ramella was the one who luckily answered my call and came to my house that same morning. She settled my dog and told me what I needed to implement in order to change his behavior. I hadn’t set any boundaries with my dog previously and he thought he was boss. Within 12 to 24 hours, my Cavapoo was acting like a true, subservient companion again. I am so lucky and grateful to have found Ramella when I did. I now have the confidence and ability to manage my dogs behavior.

There are not enough words to express my gratitude for Ramella. Our little guy, Derby, was having a hard time with confidence and socialization resulting in a lot of barking and unwanted behaviors. We had Ramella come assess Derby, and knew right away we had to send him away for training with Ramella. She is so knowledgable, while being relatable, and also direct when needed! Sometimes as dog owners....we can all be a little biased. Ramella took Derby for 6 weeks, and returned our little guy as a confident and trained young man. She genuinely cared about Derby, and loved him as one of her own. She sent us pictures, texts and videos, which helped our lonely hearts while he was away! Ramella always answered all of our texts and calls. She answered any questions we had, while never making us feel inferior. When returning Derby, she shed tears and hugged him... and thanked US for sharing our little guy with her. Ramella, THANK YOU, for changing Derby's life and in turn changing ours. We will always be so incredibly thankful and grateful to you. I would 10/10 recommend Ramella to ANYONE looking for a dog trainer, and honestly as a mentor during the process of loving a dog. I feel very lucky to have found Ramella to train my 6 month old puppy. In our initial conversation she was upfront and clear about her process. Our first session lasted a few hours and we got so much from it. it was like taking a dog/puppy 101 class. It was incredibly valuable and we've begun to see positive momentum with our dog. In the initial conversation with Ramella she said that she would be, "a resource to us" during and after training. Several days after our first meeting I tested that and she was an incredible support and even met in person to ensure we were on the right path. My wife and I have recently adopted a new pitbull and Ramella's initial instructions and guidance have been a game changer! It's been remarkable to see how well our pup is adapting to a new home and Ramella's training tools have made my wife and I feel incredibly confident in bringing him into our home and providing him with a safe, happy and clear-boundaried home!
