We found a large German Shepard mix on the highway (no chip, no response to found dog ads). He hopped right in the pickup truck. Sweet dog, high energy, very strong and willful. We were referred to Randy and Lauren by our pet sitter, who had heard great things. Our new dog Buddy had been reacting to cars driving by- jumping at them as they passed on the street and basically pulling me down the road as we walked in the neighborhood. He would bark half the night and would not go down the stairs. All that has changed. Now it's like we have a different dog. He stays by my side on our walks, doesn't even notice passing cars. He sleeps through the night- no barking. And is up and down the stairs and into his kennel on command. We are very pleased with the results and highly recommend Randy's program, great service and value!

Our Malinois Ruby started with Randy at about one year of age. She learned reliable obedience, socialization skills and her energy after training was more manageable and appropriate for her job as our family pet. She gained a solid foundation and we have since followed up with Randy for ongoing training as he promised. Moreover, it was obvious that Randy has a special gift with animals. Ruby and he bonded and we knew that she trusted him which we felt was crucial to training this special breed. We appreciated how Randy was very upfront with us about the process. He managed our expectations candidly, helped with a smooth transition from facility to home and has been there for us post-training which is when the learning really begins. Money very well spent and we feel that Randy will be a life long resource and friend. We highly recommend him to anyone that wishes to bring out the best in their dog.

I did a lot of research before choosing Alpha K-9. It was important to me to find a trainer who could handle & teach my reactive dog through discipline, understanding and genuine connection. Randy’s experience and new student orientation set my mind at ease, and I liked how he emphasized my part of the training responsibility. I felt I knew what was expected from my dog & of me to create harmony in our relationship. Randy was able to change the game for my girl Murphy and I am so grateful.
