Having my dog go to Alpha Canine Training Center was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I have an instinctive guard dog that went to the 4 week board and train program. His progress was amazing over that time. He listens on command and is so much easier to walk and control. I used to have to walk him at very awkward and random times throughout the day or very late at night just to avoid distractions. Now I can walk him when it’s convenient for me. They also have a boarding program for my dog since he’s been through their training They are very accommodating- I make a lot of last minute trips for work and they are always able to board my dog. I would absolutely recommend Alpha Canine Training Center for dogs of any age or size. They are amazing and not only do they truly care about your dogs progress, they truly care about your dog.

We have a rambuncious bully mix that we adopted from a family member in December 2022. He was 11 mo. & the only command he knew and not that well was sit. Although we were experienced dog owners, we did not have the patience or the time it was going to take to teach him the basics. I also didn't have any experience with the breed or a bigger dog and was uncomfortable with my ability to control him if my husband was not around. It took some effort to convince my husband but after meeting with Randy, hearing his training philosophy and touring the facility he was on board. We dropped our sweet goober off in January 2023 for a month & we couldn't be happier. The progress he made was amazing! He'd never been in a kennel situation before so we were a little apprehensive but Randy kept us informed and after the 2 week visit, I could tell he was happy and had already made so much progress. We learned alot from Randy during our training visits. Even my husband whom I teasingly call Dr. Dolittle ,because of how good he is with animals, learned some very helpful information and techniques. Today our boy is co-existing in our family well and still has his playful personality. His former owner is impressed with his progress as well. He didn't think it was possible. We had a GREAT experience with Randy and staff. We brought our 5 month old Golden to them who was a cute but wild man and came home a MUCH better dog who listens to commands. Walking was a chore for us and now having him know how to walk properly has been a life saver. They were incredibly accommodating with us and our schedules and I loved the several training sessions they had us do with Macaroni while he was staying there. We actually just boarded him there for a few nights and I was so at ease when our dog ran RIGHT back to Randy and thru the door. You can tell Randy has a giant heart for the animals he trains and I’m so glad we found them to work with our sweet boy.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Alpha K9! I was at my wits end with the puppy blues with my crazy 8 month old Coonhound-Aussie-Poodle girl, Carter. Shes a rescue who turned out to be the ultimate mashup of working dogs and put my patience through the wringer with everything from biting and jumping to full on resource guarding. Carter spent 4 weeks with Alpha K9 and I can honestly say that when I picked her up I was BLOWN away by the well behaved pup she had grown in to. She is so incredibly smart, so she still keeps me on my toes, and we have a long road of building trust and continuing her training - but Randy and Lauren gave me hope and the tools I need to be able to handle her.
