We cannot say enough wonderful things about Ridgeside K9 and K9 Trainer Kendall. The time, patience, dedication, and genuine love Kendall poured into LT throughout his six weeks of training were truly remarkable. It was clear from the beginning that LT was not simply another dog in the program—he was treated with kindness, compassion, and individual attention every step of the way. Kendall took the time to understand LT’s personality, build his confidence, and help him develop the skills and discipline he needed. The progress LT made during those six weeks exceeded our expectations, and the positive changes in his behavior have made such a meaningful difference in our lives. We are incredibly grateful for Kendall’s professionalism, knowledge, consistent communication, and heartfelt commitment to LT’s success. We did a 2 week puppy board and train with our 13 week old Belgian malinois puppy Kate. Let me just say that my expectations were greatly exceeded. I appreciated how much Stella and Taylor communicated with me about my options for her and also all the updates while she was in training. When I went to pick her up they gave me so much good information on how to continue and reinforce her training. Before she went to training, she was decent for a Malinois puppy, but couldn’t be off leash in the house due to getting into everything and chewing things up, and she struggling with being calm in her crate as well as Leash manners. I wanted her to be able to be calm in public and in different environments, focus on me, and have more manners and when I say they delivered me a completely different dog it is remarkable. Since getting Kate back a few days ago I have already seen such a huge change in her. She is calmer in her crate, I have been able to take her to Petsmart, out to dinner, and in Sephora and she did phenomenal. Barely used her ecollar, because she did so incredible on a leash. Everytime I stopped walked she would immediately stop, sit, and look for me to tell her what was next. Having a high energy working breed dog was intimidating and I new she would need a lot of training but the change in just two weeks (especially after having a less than great experience in the past with a board and train with my German shepherd with a different training program in Tampa) is absolutely remarkable. The day I picked her up and saw how locked in she was on Stella and how good of a relationship the two of them had built in just a short time gave me so much excitement and hope for building that same handler type relationship with her. Her sit, down, leash manners, crate manners, and recall were all greatly improved and I look forward to working with Stella and Taylor in the future on teaching her new things and upkeep when it comes to her training. I truly could not be more grateful for them giving my girl the best start possible on her training journey and setting us both up for longterm success. Good training gives her so much more freedom both in and out of the house and in truly seeing my dream dog come to life.

We are so happy with our experience at Ridgeside K9. Nikki, Jay, Stella, and Taylor were all amazing! We foster failed our 1.5 year old Husky/Great Pyrenees mix earlier this year. We knew we needed professional help because he kept running away and we were worried something terrible could happen. He was also a little too curious about the house cat. I was worried that sending him to training could change his goofy fun loving personality we fell in love with but it did not! Jax is still the same old goofball! Just less stubborn and more well behaved! His recall is 100% ! We completely trust him off leash now which we never thought would be possible. He is getting along nicely with the cat and understands that the cat is truly in charge of the house lol. He also walks so well on the leash. It has greatly improved our relationship with Jax. We can't recommend Ridgeside enough!! Special shout out to Stella who loves Jax just as much as we do!! Stella and Taylor have been super responsive since the training ended answering any questions we have. We love that Jax can go back for daycare and boarding whenever needed. Thank you guys so much!

The team at Ridgeside is nothing short of incredible! We had just gotten our 5-month old Doberman pup Ozzy and wanted to have him trained asap to develop good manners early on. We heard from others that Ridgeside is the place to go, can 100% agree! Our trainer was Amado, he was absolutely amazing! He explained to us their approach to the training so well, we have a new perspective on the way dogs think and how it all works. I love the organic nature of the training where the dogs live with the trainer, that way their unique mannerisms are picked up and worked on. What was especially wonderful was the “people training” at the end of the program. He really took time to explain and teach everything to us so that we can carry the training forward. They provided very detailed education on what is best to feed our pup as well! They say they’re with you even after the process, and they truly are! I was able to reach out if I had more questions or needed support on anything. Ozzy has also already been back for boarding, and it’s great to have the peace of mind he’s with someone he already knows and someone we 100% trust. Their flexibility is so appreciated as well; at the beginning of the training we were really tight on time to get Ozzy scheduled with a trainer, and Nikki kindly got him in, same with Amado and the boarding! Ridgeside was and continues to be so worth it to us, we could not be more appreciative of Amado and the team!

I don’t even know if words can do justice to the pure magic Jay, Kendall, and the entire Ridgeside team worked on our boys. When we first brought Rocky and Adonis in, we were so overwhelmed - one of our boys was absolutely terrified of the world, and the other had zero boundaries or manners. When we picked them up, we were completely floored. I’m rarely left speechless, but seeing them behave beautifully, listen eagerly, and still keep every ounce of their sweet, goofy personalities literally brought me to tears in the best possible way. It’s one thing to train a dog, but Ridgeside goes so much deeper, they actually taught us how to understand our boys and give them the incredible life they truly deserve. We are forever grateful. If I could give them a million stars, it still wouldn’t be enough. A million/10 experience, a billion/10 team, and 1000% recommended to anyone who loves their dogs! 🩵🩵
