Thelma Jean started her journey with Ridgeside K9 with tremendous amounts of anxiety which was preventing her from being the best version of herself. She is now home and there are only positive words to describe the transformation we have experienced. With the right trainer and the right environment and the necessary dedication, change is possible. We now have a brave, more confident, more calm, better behaved, still enthusiastic, still very loving, Thelma Jean. He took the time to understand my dog's personality and tailored the training to suit both our needs. The progress we made in just a few weeks was incredible — not only is my dog more obedient, but our bond has grown so much stronger. Absolutely wonderful training program. I used Ridgeside K9 to help with my 8 month old Cavalier King Charles who was having several issues that I had no idea how to stop/fix. We had Rob and he was wonderful. He came to pick Henry up spent a few hours getting to know him and what was happening and after the 3 weeks board and train brought Henry back and spent 4 hours with us to train us on how to continue. Henry is a completely a different dog in the best ways! He no longer pulls the leash like crazy, he doesn’t steal food, he can sit on his bed and not come off until I tell him it’s ok and so much more. I highly recommend this program for the knowledge, flexibility and communication they offer! If you’re wondering should I? Yes do it such a fantastic investment in your precious dog.

I cannot recommend Rob at Ridgeside K9 highly enough. He worked with our 5-month-old pup, Rigby, for three weeks in his home, and the results have been amazing. Rigby is the best-trained young dog I’ve ever had—he heels, comes, and stays in place on command with incredible attentiveness and discipline. One of the things we appreciated most about working with Rob was how involved he kept us throughout the entire process. He sent us frequent updates, including videos with detailed instructions and explanations of what he was doing and why. This not only reassured us that Rigby was in great hands but also helped us understand how to reinforce the training at home. And Rob didn’t just train Rigby—he trained us, too. When Rigby came home, Rob spent 3.5 hours at our house working with our whole family, making sure we knew how to continue the training. His patience and thorough approach gave us the confidence to keep up Rigby’s progress and maintain the results. Rob’s expertise, dedication, and passion for what he does truly shine through in his work. It’s clear he not only understands dog behavior but also cares deeply about setting both dogs and their owners up for success. Rigby came home confident, well-behaved, and eager to please.

George and I had an amazing experience with K9 and Amber! I was very hesitant to leave my 4 month old Great Dane for 2 weeks, but I was fed up with the biting, jumping, pulling, and overall aggressive behavior and had nothing to lose. Amber's communication during the 2 weeks made me feel like I was with them every day. The videos and pictures are some of my favorites of him and I sent them all out to friends and family. 2 weeks later, Amber came to my house and was so patient in helping my mom and I learn the new tools she had been working on with George. He was a totally different puppy! My excitement for having a dog was back and I loved getting to be around him again. When small behavior issues starting happening again and I texted Amber, she immediately called me, walked through some options, offered to drive 45 minutes to come and meet us and help us through it. She then sent a text every day for the next 5 days to make sure everything was going great! I'm so thankful for the K9 Ringside family and Amber! You have changed our lives!
