What does our board and train entail?
Training starts immediately upon arrival for a board and train. Dogs will be taught a marker based system of learning. They will be taken out in the community several days a week and during this time they will be required to be neutral to their environment. Throughout training, we will continue to add in distance, duration and distraction to proof all commands and ensure a calm state of mind. We do not believe in one standard training method for all dogs. We will work with owners to build a program to meet the specific needs of their dog and family. We make ourselves available throughout training to answer any questions and alleviate any concerns. We pride ourselves on our transparency and dedication to keeping owners up to date and informed on the progress of training.

I can't say enough good things about Cori. This was the first time I'd ever left my dog with someone and I was honestly pretty nervous about it, but Cori made the whole thing so much easier than I expected. She worked with my one year old lab puppy, Bear, on basic manners training and leash walking, and the difference in her confidence since training with Cori is amazing. Bear is calmer, more comfortable, and clearly picked up so much. Cori's knowledge of dog behavior and training is so thorough, and I loved seeing the different activities she did with Bear each day. What really stood out to me was how much Cori kept me in the loop. She sent daily updates with photos and videos of Bear, which made me feel so much better knowing my puppy was in good hands. On top of that, she's just genuinely sweet, friendly, and supportive. You can tell how passionate she is about what she does. She doesn't just train your dog, she teaches you how to communicate with your dog too, which has made such a difference for us going forward. I'm so grateful for the care she took of Bear, and I'll definitely be recommending her to anyone looking for a trainer. Thank you so much, Cori!

Very thankful the the experience we had with Ridgeside K9 Summerville especially with our trainer Amanda. We had an unexpected trip so we decided to do a BnT for Nova. We went for a 3 week course and it was a great experience. Daily updates and even a mid course meet up. Definitely would recommend (our vet even used them). Cant wait to continue our training journey!
