Ridgeside K9 Tampa

Ridgeside is a wonderful dog training option and we cannot recommend it more highly. Our chocolate lab had two stays with Kellen (at about 3 months and 7 months) and not only received outstanding results with his obedience and responsiveness, but Kellen was very caring and loving with our little guy. Kellen stayed in ongoing contact with us through pictures and messages to let us know how it was going. In addition, he spent a lot of time with us following the training stays to explain everything that had occurred and answer any questions we had. While you know it is the right thing to do, allowing your dog to leave with a trainer can be tough; however, we can sincerely say that it was.a great decision and I know our dog Stan will benefit (as will we) for years to come. This is a great choice for you and your dog!

We sent our beloved (high energy) labradoodle, Arnie, to Kenzi for the 3 week board and train program. With 3 young kids at home and busy schedules to keep up with, Arnie’s behavior needed correcting that we knew we couldn’t tackle on our own. I can’t recommend Ridgeside K9 enough! Still a fun, spunky pup- Arnie now has manners and knows better of what is expected of him. Kenzi was so great sending us pictures/videos daily and updates throughout his training. We were all so proud and excited on graduation day, Kenzi was so patient walking us through Arnie’s training and how we can continue to help him succeed. We are excited to watch Arnie continue to grow!

I did the 3-week program with trainer Kristin G. for my 6-month old golden doodle and the results were fantastic. It was like I had a different dog after 3 weeks. Before he was hard to walk on a leash and would not obey me. Kristin taught him how to walk on a leash and basic commands (sit, come, down, place, free, heel), crate manners and the potential life-saving door threshold manners. Now he never advances across a threshold until given the ‘come’ command. Kristin sent frequent video and picture updates during the 3 weeks explaining what they were working on. When she brought him back we did a nice go-home lesson, which gave me advice on how to build on what my dog learned from her. I found a great dog trainer in Kristin. I can tell she loves dogs and loves training them. If you need your dog trained I recommend Kristin G.

THANK YOU KELLEN!! My husband and I put our very energetic Labrador dexter in the two week board and train with Kellen. We had the expectation that dexter would be trained to control his excitement. Thus, helping him be less anxious. We never had to question what Dexter was up to because Kellen kept very good communication with us throughout the full two weeks with pictures and videos. He was very upfront and honest about dexters progress whether it was how well he was learning or if he was struggling in some areas. Overall we feel as if we got a new dog (in the best way possible). These last two weeks have taught dexter some much needed structure and leash manners. He’s learned how to channel his energy and excitement In ways that has allowed him to be much less anxious and all over the place. Thank you Kellen for having our happy boy and training him very well!
