Ridgeside K9 Tampa

i sent my 4 month old lab puppy to Kenzi at ridgeside k9. has much as i love him, he was an absolute domestic terrorist!!! jumping on everyone and all the furniture, took puppy biting to an extreme, darting out of open doors, etc. the little man just had ZERO chill… he was all gas, no breaks. Kenzi taught my pup and I how to channel his drive and get us both on the same wavelength. on his “go home lesson”, she gave me all the tools to make sure my puppy is successful and can roll into his adult training in a few months. he’s only been home for 24 hours, and this is a whole different dog. he’s still my little lover boy and full of energy, but we’re speaking the same language now. i was worried a robot-dog would be returned to me and i am beyond relieved he’s still got his little spunk and personality. thank you SO MUCH to ridgeside k9, ESPECIALLY Kenzi 🐶❤️ i recommend this business to ANYONE needing dog training!!!

I was nervous to leave my pup Petey for 3 weeks but Kellen at Ridgeside Tampa alleviated those concerns almost immediately. I appreciated the constant communication and progress updates from Kellen. He made me feel like I was part of the process the entire time. Upon return my pup was the same goofy guy but his recall and listening were on a whole new level! Kellen was also great at explaining and giving us the tools to keep building on the foundation he instilled in my dog. I have been and will continue to recommend Kellen and Ridgeside to anyone who is looking for GREAT dog training in the Tampa Bay Area.10/10

Ridgeside K9 was amazing to work with. We rescued a 7 month old Aussie (Ollie) who started showing behavioral issues at home when he turned a year old. I did a lot of research and spoke to many board and train companies. When I called RK9, Taylor took my call and answered every single one of my questions and listened to all my concerns about Ollie. She was so helpful, patient, and informative about the entire process. She was able to book Ollie for a board and train with one of their trainers, Kellen. A few days prior to Ollie’s board and train, Kellen called me and went over all our concerns we have been experiencing with Ollie and went over every thing he would work on with Ollie. Kellen was wonderful to work with and was super communicative throughout the entire board and train. I received daily photos and videos of Ollie. Ollie returned to us the same super happy pup, but he had learned so many skills during his training with Kellen that has made a huge difference in our household. He no longer lunges out the door when it opens, he goes to his “place”, he can walk on a leash without pulling us down the street. Daily things that were once a constant struggle are done with ease now that Ollie knows the skills and foundations Kellen has taught him. Everything he has learned with Kellen has and will continue to improve our lifestyle with Ollie. We will forever be grateful to Kellen for all his hard work and time spent with our pup. We had a great experience with Kellen! We sent our puppy George to him to get some basic foundational skills to set him up for success. Kellen was awesome - he sent us updates and pictures/videos everyday. You can tell he really cares and has a heart for the dogs he trains. I was most concerned George would come back sad or not the same but his sweet spirit is just as big but he he is now more obedient and mindful of his manners. Thank you!!
