FirstBarkMatt was patient with Riley me! He gave me the tools to build a happy, safe and respectful relationship with my dog. Walks are more relaxing for both of us and he is socializing with other dogs! I would recommend Matt and Right Way K9 to anyone that wants to create a tight bond with their furry kid and improve the quality of both of your lives.

Ollie came to us with a lot of anxiety and uncertainty, and thanks to Matt’s patience, expertise, and incredible training methods, he is now a completely different dog, in the best way possible! Matt’s approach is thoughtful, personalized, and effective. He took the time to understand our dogs’ unique personalities and tailored his training to fit their needs. The transformation we’ve seen in Ollie is nothing short of remarkable. He’s more confident, well-behaved, and so much happier. Our older dog, Gus, also benefited immensely from Matt’s guidance, and the dynamic between our two pups has never been better. If you’re looking for a trainer who truly cares, delivers real results, and will bring out the best in your dog, look no further than Matt. My dog was always pulling on the leash, barking at strangers, and jumping at anything exciting: dogs, squirrels, bikers, you name it. In a single session Matt got my dog loose-leash walking and way less reactive. By the end of the 10th session, my dog doesn’t try to steal food, is much more calm when visitors come over, and has such good recall I’m able to have him off-leash in parks. Matt taught me how dogs think and I feel way more connected with my dog now. After the course, I’ve asked Matt a few questions over the years and he’s always taken time for me despite me not being an active client anymore! I recommend Matt to everyone

Not only did he create lessons that catered to our needs and dog breed but he made them fun and super informative as well. We took in a 1 year old pup rescue. As a long time dog owner with a very good record of training my own dogs, unfortunately I soon found that I was over my skis. We found out that he is an Australian Kelpie. A high energy intelligent breed meant for big time herding. In enters Matt and he immediately gained control of the situation. After one session I knew that we were on the right track. I highly recommend Matt and K9 Training.
