Right Way K9 Training

When we rescued our dog Mango, she came with a lot of challenges - anxiety, barking, leash reactivity, and difficulty socializing. We weren't sure where to start but finding Matt changed everything. Matt took the time to understand Mango and her behavior and was able to customize our training sessions to fit her unique needs and emotional state. Mango was already showing incredible improvement with leash walking, triggers, and barking, but now that we've added daycare she is a completely different dog. The safe and structured environment has not only allowed her to reinforce everything she's been learning at home but has helped her build her social skills--something she desperately needed. I didn't think I'd see the day where Mango fully opened up and truly played with another dog, but Matt and daycare helped her get there. It's been an amazing transformation and we're beyond grateful to Matt and Right Way K-9 Training.

Working with Matt for our girl Nacho was the best decision we’ve made for her! She was constantly in a fight or flight every time we left our house with her. With Matt’s guidance, we have been able to ease her stresses while being out, making walks more enjoyable for us and her! We can freely take our pup to dog friendly environments and know that she trusts us and knows it’s okay! She is no longer barking out the window at every squirrel or person who walks by, guests can come over without being jumped on, and Nacho overall has a confidence level I never thought I’d see in her! My husband and I joke that Matt “trained us”, which is kind of true, as he gave us the tools and guidance to allow us to help Nacho reach her greatest doggo potential! We will continue to work with Matt and Right Way K-9 for any future training needs/boarding!
