Rob's Dogs (Dog Training)

I had both of my dogs boarded during our trip. A 7-month-old puppy, Tala, and her old buddy, Tango, are both English setters. The onboarding was detailed, with Ian providing all the information regarding the process and the training rationale. During the trip, they kept us abreast of improvements with videos of some of the training sessions. On the day of the check-out, Nathan spent more than an hour going over each dog's continuing training strategies, and we practiced a lot with all the different commands. The improvement was palpable at first sight of the dogs. The dogs were bathed, healthy, and very happy to see me. On our first day fully at home, the commands are as effective as when the trainer was present. They are still a bundle of joy and energy, but now safe and manageable, especially during walks. The house is much quieter since I no longer need to call out to stop the counter surfing, the couch jumping, and the chewing “machine”. The training continues with us, but the solid base is there. The facility is open and extremely clean. They will continue to support the journey towards responsible dog ownership. Boarding a puppy is an important decision. I did not want to come back with unruly dogs that had spent 10 days without training. This was the perfect one place. All the staff were incredibly friendly and caring towards the dogs.

We just picked our 1 year old dog up from his board and train and although it was hard to be away from him, he learned so much! You can tell the whole staff really loves dogs and gives them the best care during the stay. We were very impressed with everything Mike taught our dog Conrad and he made us feel confident to go home and continue Conrad’s training. We are looking forward to continuing future lessons with Mike!

We brought in our dog Smokey for some obedience training and what a night and day difference in our highly energetic German shepherd. Walking him he would constantly pull us around to a point where it got too hard for my wife to walk him. He wouldn’t stay in a sit or down position what’s so ever and was constantly distracted by other things going on around him. After a week robs dogs completely turned our Smokey around.
