Scott is very honest and knowledgeable guy. He knows what he is doing and builds a great dog using his real-world experience. He is very down to earth, and his softer approach was exactly what my GSP needed. We had her stay for a 1month puppy class, which built the foundation and brought out her drive. We then came back for her 3-month formal pointing training and she exploded from there. I can't wait to get in the field this fall to allow her to do what she loves!

I’ve gotten 3 dogs trained by Scott in his 3 month program. 2 drahthaars and 1 English pointer . Different breeds and each dog has their own unique personality. Scott has been able to read each dog intuitively and give them the training style that was correct for them individually, giving me back a dog that was polished while remaining confident and instinctual . Retaining high level of drive yet easy to handle and manage in the field .

We sent our GSP, Rook, to Rockin Robin Kennel for puppy obedience, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Scott is absolutely fantastic at what he does. Not only did he do a great job instilling solid obedience fundamentals like "whoa," "place," and "kennel," but he has already tapped right into her bird drive. Under Scott’s guidance, Rook has already successfully pointed multiple times! It’s clear she is well on her way to becoming an excellent hunting dog. We are incredibly impressed with the progress she’s made so far and cannot wait to have her complete her training in Scott’s hunting dog program next month. If you're looking for a trainer who truly understands dogs, Scott is your guy!

Scott was absolutely great to work with. Not only did he train our first pup, a Springer, he also has now trained our newest pup, a Brittany. Whether flushing dog or pointing Scott is absolutely fantastic to work with. He doesn’t over pressure a new pup and he helped us understand how to best help them going forward.
