Ruff Rules

We sent our dog, Malibu, to Ruff Rules for a 2 1/2-week training program, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the results. He came back like a brand-new pup—still the same sweet Malibu we adore, but so much better behaved. His leash manners, greetings at the door, and overall behavior have improved so much, and we can truly see the difference. Beyond the training itself, we were blown away by the program and the environment at Ruff Rules’ home base. The way all the women come together to train the dogs while creating such a warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel completely comfortable leaving Malibu there for the full stay. We’re so grateful for the care, effort, and love they put into his training. Five stars and a huge thank you from us! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I can't say enough good things about Jenna at Ruff Rules. From the moment I dropped Rocky off, I knew he was in good hands. Jenna's passion for training and love of animals was evident. She clearly explained the training plan, set realistic milestones, and provided daily updates throughout the process. After Rocky returned, I was amazed by the transformation in such a short period. Our first public outing after training went great, and I was so proud of him. The training not only improved Rocky’s behavior but also strengthened our bond and my confidence as his caregiver. Choosing training with Jenna was the best investment for both Rocky and myself. If you’re looking for compassionate, effective dog training, Ruff Rules is the team to trust.

Our 1y/o pitty, Esme, had extreme anxiety and stranger danger after being abandoned and abused as a puppy. We tried our best to socialize her and get her more comfortable being around people, but she was so in her head and fearful that she just shook. So we signed her up for a 3-week-long board and train with Keely. Keely was INCREDIBLE with her. She was so patient with Esme and slowly (very slowly) Esme started to come out of her shell. Keely’s training methods gave Esme the structure she needed to work past some of her anxieties and she’s slowly becoming more and more confident in high stress environments. Esme’s still the same amazing, sweet puppy we fell in love with. But Keely’s training (with our reinforcement at home) has really transformed Esme into a dog that can push past her anxieties and thrive at home and in public! Serena was absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful throughout the 4-week in-home daily training program. Archie used to be very reactive toward people and other dogs, and walking him was always a struggle because he was constantly pulling on the leash. Now he can walk calmly in a heel position and stay neutral around others, something I never imagined would be possible. This training has truly changed both of our lives and has given me so much confidence. Thanks to Ruff Rules and Serena, we reached goals I once thought were out of reach. Words cannot express how grateful I am!
