Runchkin Hill K9 Training and Breeding Facility

In October 2023, we got the greatest Belgian Malinois ever! She is smart, beautiful, and incredibly sweet. Robin checked in with us a few times after we took the Hildi home. When we mentioned that the puppy had a HUGE problem with cars, she offered a free session to help us. In one hour, she fixed the problem! Robin was amazingly helpful, and trained the dog (and us) how to be successful and safe around cars. Words cannot really express how happy we are with the results. Ron and Nancee

I originally checked out Runchkin because I wanted my pup to be able to enjoy being off leash and have good recall—I had no idea how much the training was going to improve our lives and make my dog so happy. She’s so much calmer, has learned to turn her drive on and off — whether we’re hunting for rodents, walking in town or snuggling on the couch, she is a more confident, happy dog. Coco squeaks with excitement every day as we drive in, she loves being there, she loves learning and the love she gets from everyone there. It’s a perfect combination of day school for her and group class for me. I’m so thankful for Robin and her team!

Robin & her team at Runchkin are phenomenal. We took our new rescue here for about 6 months to help him work through basic obedience training, leash walking, recall and for ways to help him relieve his anxiety ... and I can say, they are real life dog wizards. Robin must speak dog. What I appreciated most, was attending the group sessions when offered, so we could see the training in real time, see how he was doing in a group setting & receive guidance directly from Robin for how to keep the training going at home. 10/10 if you need expert training advice in the area!

We have had two incredible GSD's that have accompanied us for the past 25 years and I never thought I would find another. Then came along my Zeus of Runchkin who has been the most incredible of them all ! Zeus is a wonderful 1.5 year old friendly, intelligent, & super playful dog who continues to impress us each and every day. Obviously he came from a great breeder in Runchkin yet it has been the additional consultative and custom ongoing training that makes him the whole package. Robin, Tim, & the entire Runchkin team are first class A1 ! Everyone we meet whether in public or at our home are thoroughly impressed with our Zeus' physique and overall great manners & behavior with people and other animals. Quite an impressive companion ! Runchkin is the best !!!

We came to Runchkin Hill Farm & Kennel in search of a german shepherd puppy to add to our family about a year ago. The process from signing up to be on the list for a puppy / bringing him home to now has been a really positive experience for us. Robin and her team are amazing. Robin is not only extremely skilled and knowledgeable in what she does but she also really cares about all her dogs & puppies. Its nice to see that type of commitment. I also appreciate the fact that Robin is very responsive via text & calls and is honest & direct with her thoughts when you ask her about training and good practices when raising your dog/puppy. I have been bringing Koda (our now 1 yr old GSD) back to Runchkin Hill regularly for training and boarding and will continue to. Koda is still on the younger side and I knew I wanted to make sure I teach him the right habits early! Koda and I have come to Robin for group obedience classes, private obedience classes and protection training. It has been great- I learn new things each time and feel more confident & equipped in how to work / train with Koda. When you have a working breed dog, you will want to work with GOOD people who are going to work with you and help you achieve the relationship and results you want with your pet.
