Sadie's Rules K9 Training

We went with Sadie's after discovering them on social media and loving their approach to behavior modification - something our dog Watson needed. Watson spent 5 weeks there working on his anxiety with the Sadie's team. We are so thrilled with his progress. He is obedient, more confident, and less anxious now. The Sadie's team was very professional in their communications, resources, and lessons with us. Would highly recommend to any dog owners!

I became aware of Sadie’s Rules K9 Training (SRK9T) after my niece’s dog graduated from their program. To be honest, I had a hard time rectifying love for a dog and using an e-collar. I fully supported her decision but knew there was no way I’d do “that” to my dog. Fast forward to July 2022. We purchased a beautiful German shepherd puppy. She was 8 weeks old and we were full of hope and excitement to add her to our paw family! After 4 days I knew we needed help. I had been following SRK9T for about a year on Instagram. I went to their website to read more and decided to email them about our puppy and her aggressive behaviors. Nikki reached out to me the same day, thus beginning a long correspondence of over 20+ emails regarding our puppy’s behaviors and what we could do to help her become her best dog possible. In my first email I inquired about puppy camp and the 3 week camp. After the first email from Nikki I signed our puppy up for both programs. Meanwhile, Nikki and Jess were there to help us anytime I emailed, and I emailed a lot. Never did I feel that they were exasperated with me. Never did I feel that my questions or concerns were silly. Never did they give up on us and our puppy. Jess Zoomed with us, did a home visit and did an hour long training with us here at our home. For 3 weeks we worked with our puppy using all the help and suggestions we got from Nikki and Jess. Finally after one particularly bad aggressive episode, Nikki and Jess sent us the most caring email that spoke to our truth and helped us make the very difficult decision to return her to the breeder. We still grieve for our puppy but she’s in the perfect home for her and we get pictures of her now and then so we’re happy. We were disappointed that our girl didn’t get to go through the SRK9T programs. She would have been such a rockstar! Plus, we were excited to have such a well balanced and happy dog in our pack. However, stay tuned because something wonderful has happened to our family and it’s all because of Jess and Nikki and Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue!

I have GSD big boy 4 years old. He is pulling, barking the other dogs or every person. We cant take him for a trip and walk. I have sent him to a few school in the pass.. never work. End up he scared the trainer and got anxiety. When i saw the reviews and IG of Sadie's rule K9, i decided to give a shot. I sent the email, they responded quickly and clearly. They flexible on your schedule. I have emergency, they generous working perfectly with my schedule. After 1 month boarding,. The good dog was born. Also my dog have a good relationship with the trainer not scared of the trainer just like in the past. Bonus you can see your dog on IG. So happy to see our dog happy at the boarding school. They let your dog swim in their swimming pool too!:) The best dog training school in Charlottesville!!
