Sally Said So Professional Dog Training

We have had a consultation and 5 private lessons with Jess at Sally Said So and highly recommend her! She is wonderful, our dogs love her, we adore her, and we have all learned so much! We are now starting group lessons, all part of the Trainer on Retainer program, and we feel well equipped for this next phase. We initially called for help because our dogs were picking up each others' anxiety lunging at cars, barking at other dogs, and pulling constantly on their leashes. She taught us how to handle all of this and more. This has been a real game changer for us! And they are not puppies, so an old dog can learn new tricks.

Jess has taught me everything about my dog, Sampson, Sammie. If it weren’t for Jess’s guidance and patience, I would’ve been lost when it comes to Sammie’s needs. She always says “you don’t know what you don’t know.” Jess makes me feel like I can really achieve success with training Sammie. She’s been a dog trainer for 10 years and it shows with her professional skills. I highly recommend Sally Said So as a company and Jess as an amazing trainer.

We had a great experience with sally said so! Natalie was great at meeting us where we were - both physically and metaphorically. Our Doggo went from being hyper anxious and reactive to much calmer - able to get through the day and respond to our guidance. The one on one sessions helped us see how eager our dog is to learn and helped us practice new skills in training her. Additionally the app has tons of useful information and tips we could use for training in between sessions. With a new baby at home this couldn’t have been more helpful - unless we’d done it sooner! We look forward to seeing Natalie again and keeping up our skills with group classes.

I am an older woman who got my first pet much later in life and have ‘learned the ropes’ as I went along. I have a lovable, smart three-year old Beagle / Boston Terrier dog (Mink) and made the mistake of moving her from a house with a gated backyard to a townhouse where her activities are limited to going on walks. From day one, Mink has been aggressively attacked multiple times and has subsequently developed into a very nervous, reactive dog. This isn’t something you correct on your own. So, our vet referred me to Sally Said So and it was the best call I could have ever made. Mink and I are working with Jess, who is awesome. She listens, understands our circumstances and is extremely knowledgeable about what it takes to meet our needs. She has shown patience, responds to every situation, and gives my baby a lot of love when she arrives. Mink responds to her as well, which is so important. Jess immediately put a plan in place which not only included the exercises and resources we needed, but also the encouragement and confidence I needed to do my part. I am so thankful for the time we have been working with Jess and very grateful for the results after just a few sessions.
