My experience with Sit Means Sit has been nothing but positive. When the mention of e-collars came up in the free consultation, I was hesitant to be sure, but instead of immediately rejecting the method I spoke with the trainer and they even let me feel the pressure level that is commonly used in training. In the scope of the work put into the dog for day classes, length of training, and support from their team as well as provided equipment: they are cheap. Just looking at the sticker price people will think they are expensive. A 6 week course with any big box store, 1 class a week, it will cost about 120-160 dollars. Those do not include any day training. After your 6 weeks is up you might as well be dead to them until you pay for more.The depth of the training is different as well. It is not simply obedience, but helps your dog’s quality of life by improving your relationship with your dog and improving your dog’s confidence. You get what you put into this training.if you are on the day train program once a week for a month then disappear, you aren’t going to get what you paid for. The trainers are excellent. My dog Obi adores all of them. He gets excited every-time he gets to go to class. Dogs are a good judge of character. They provide a safe environment where your dog can thrive. The community around Sit Means Sit is also incredibly welcoming and supportive. It is worth every single penny, and I am so happy I got over my own hangups about e-collars and gave them a chance.
