Sit Means Sit Dog Training

I have a 5 year old jack Russell beagle mix I got her when “I had no business getting a dog.” I didn’t realize at 22 how much time it required to have a well behaved pup. I brought “Lyric” into sit means sit had a review done and they educated me on the e-collar. We use it for play time and we use it for serious business. Now when I grab her collar she’s already sitting in front of me wanting in on. It’s not a punishment it’s an acknowledgement for us in our house. Lyric now can be anywhere and I’m not the embarrassed dog mom I use to be. Her “little dog syndrome” doesn’t exsist anymore. I now have her little brother (Australian Sheppard) learning the program as well. It’s not easy to teach an old dog new tricks but Alexis andI Naomi are very educated, love what they do and love watching you and your dog succeed. I would recommend this place to everyone.

We have been using Sit Means Sit since January 2018. Our Siberian Husky Puppy has made wonderful strides throughout the year. Knowledgeable, dedicated, professional, consistent, creative and caring only begin to describe the training experience. Alexis and her team are first rate. We have had 9 Siberian’s over 45 years and this was the best training with excellent results. Our little boy is a good citizen. Great job Alexis!

I've grown up with several breeds, some aggressive and some not, and with several trainers. Alexis and the team at Sit Means Sit is the best of them, hands down. They are patient, consistent educators who understand that the core training is of the humans, not the canines. I was concerned about using the e-coller, but after learning about it and about how to use it, I have zero concerns. If you're hurting your dog in the process of training with the ecollar, it's highly likely that how you're using it is not in line with the training. I've seen every breed of dog, with every type of temperament, go through the Sit Means Sit training and the fact is, it works and it creates a happy relationship between you and your dog. My 92# akita is manageable and well socialized because of our experience there. And happy. I can't recommend this team highly enough for their care, knowledge, skill and love of our dogs.
