I can’t praise Sit Means Sit enough for the information and guidance they have provided in training my doggo Divot. I did the individual lessons and three months of group classes. Before training my dog could not tolerate the sight of another unknown dog, was a really hard leash puller, and had no recall. In fact, lesson 3 with Alex (who is super awesome by the way) was the first time I ever saw my dog not react to bypassing an unknown dog. We recently just moved up to intermediate group classes, and now Divot can focus and handle being in a room with over 20 dogs! My quality of life has improved and I’m able to take him hiking, camping, for a stroll, loose leash walks, meet new dogs, and more. I get compliments all the time about how calm and well behaved he is… little did they know how rough it was outside before training! Dog training is not easy. You get what you put into it. I would highly recommend SMS to anyone with a stubborn dog with reactivity issues.

Our 10 month old doodle participated in the 2 week board and train program and Becca was our trainer. When we went to pick him up I assumed he would bolt through the door, run right to us and completely ignore Becca’s commands, because that’s just the temperament of our goofy crazy boy. But after not seeing us for two whole weeks he walked into the room heeled, got into his place and sat there until Becca released him to come to us. I kid you not I almost started crying; 1 because I missed my boy so much 2. Because I have never seen him listen so well. Becca was so patient when I asked her the same questions over and over and took her time when I asked her to demonstrate the same command several times. I’m so grateful to the entire SMS team for clearly loving on our dog and helping him become the goodest boy ever!
Working out exactly the way we were hoping. Our ozzy is turning out to be a gentle good boy.
Sit means sit was great with our rescue dog. We did the 2 week board and train and he came back a new dog. Alyssa was great with him and with us as we learned the techniques. Highly recommended them.
