Sit Means Sit Dog Training

I couldn't be happier with SMS Raleigh! I have a 5 year old lab/hound rescue who is reactive, didn’t like other dogs, has a bite history, and was controlling my life to be honest. He was the sweetest dog to me but scared everyone else away. I never wanted to have anyone over or take him on a walk. My dog Gunner went to their Masters board and train program for 2 weeks and it was a life saver. Now, he is part hound so the stubborn side of him still tries to test my limits with boundaries but SMS has help me tremendously with my dogs confidence along with my own!! We still have a long way to go but I have seen such a change in attitude and demeanor after his stay at SMS. The group classes after the boarding seals the deal and is helping so much! You can tell the trainers really get to know your pup. Shout out to Nick for loving my puppy more than I could imagine and showing Gunner that men are not scary and give out the best belly rubs too! You all are life savers!!!

We brought our 2 year old dog here to work on her anxiety around dogs and a pretty severe leash reactivity. Due to the cost, our expectations were high but when we took her home after 12 days of boarding, our dog was significantly less stressed out about other dogs, so our expectations were met and even exceeded. There is still a lot of work but it required extraordinary training to help coping with distractions. I would definitely go to sit means sit with a future dog I may get, if they need super professional training and I would recommend this olace to friends and family. One small downside is having to wait for over a month to get her in, but it totally worth it

I am so happy to be a part of the sit means sit family:) My 1.5 year old 140lb English Mastiff, Kingston, started to get issues with leash aggression and fear aggression when meeting new pupps or people. He did the 15 day boarding camp with Olivia and has been active in the group classes and I have seen such a huge improvement. He is walking by my side without pulling and no longer jumps/lunges/barks at people walking by. Olivia is amazing and is so patient and loving with Kingy. When he goes to group classes the trainers come up to him and pet him and he wiggles his tail which is new to me - he is usually cautious/anxious. Kingy is a work in progress but it is so comforting being part of a program and team that passionate about they do :)
