Sit Means Sit Dog Training Aurora-Parker

This review is long overdue, but I can’t say enough amazing things about Sit Means Sit and their incredible team! From the moment we started, everyone there has been so kind, supportive, and dedicated to helping Poppy (and me!) succeed. Poppy is truly my soul dog, and it was so important to me to find training that would build both her confidence and our bond—and Sit Means Sit delivered that and more. Every single person we interacted with was wonderful, but I especially want to thank Tess. She went above and beyond with patience, encouragement, and guidance, and it made all the difference in Poppy’s training journey. Because of this team, Poppy has grown into such a well-behaved, happy girl, and I feel so much more confident as her owner. Sit Means Sit has been the best decision, and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I took my dog here for a consultation, and was disappointed that their only method of training included shock collars. I will not torture my dog into submission. Shame on you. Edit… despite you “having no record of me” I absolutely will not remove this review per your request. People should know that you are using them. I went to the one in Lone Tree, and even took a shock to the hand myself during dude’s speech about using the collars. I could still feel the sensation in my hand a half an hour later driving home. I took my dog, and will absolutely never return. The use of shock collars is cruel regardless of your mission. I will not shock my dog, and you are not forthcoming about that practice on your website. Using it to get the dog’s attention for redirection is still shocking them in their necks. You aren’t helping them, you are making them scared of the consequences of not following your command.

Donovan is amazing! With a new, scared, rescue doggo, we were having a very difficult time leaving him alone for any period of time! Donovan was able to do a phenomenal job work with us and working with our dog! He took a genuine care and interest in our dog and his quality of life. Our dog is a different dog today because of the tools Donovan taught us. Our dog is able to stay at home without suffering from extreme stress anymore. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!

Oh my gosh! I don’t have the same dog since he received training at Sit Means Sit. Tessa can read a dog like a book and shares the clues to doing so in her one on one training with the client and dog. Our neighbors, families, and friends are amazed at how well behaved Brutus is now, in just a few short weeks. Their pricing is fair and worth every penny and then some. The techniques I learned from Tessa will carry over for a lifetime into my ability to train another dog.
