We decided to bring our mini Bernedoodle puppy to Sit Means Sit when she was just 4 months old, and it was one of the best decisions we've made! Having grown up with dogs, I knew the importance of starting training early—not just for obedience but also for creating a well-mannered companion. While my husband and I worked with her at home (and I mean A LOT) we realized that investing in professional training would set her (and us) up for long-term success. The staff at Sit Means Sit are amazing—kind, patient, and genuinely invested in both the dogs and their owners. They go above and beyond to ensure everyone is on the right track, offering guidance and support throughout the process. The facility is clean, easy to get to and spacious, and the team is always available to answer questions and make sure you're getting the most out of your training package. We couldn’t be happier with our experience!

I wanted to share my experience with Sit Means Sit in Copley, Ohio. I am a disabled Veteran and needed to get my dog Chandler trained and certified as a service dog. After reviewing many companies online and talking to trainers I scheduled an evaluation at Sit Means Sit. These people were amazing. They were kind and very loving to my boy Chandler. They explained all the program options and costs during our evaluation. After meeting the staff and one of the trainers I decided to enroll my boy. Once a week I dropped Chandler off and when I returned to pick him up the trainer reviewed everything he had learned and showed me how to practice his training till our next appointment. This process went on for many weeks. One of the most important parts of this training is practice and reinforcement of the training. I chose to use praise as a reward for good behavior instead of treats. That was just my personal preference. You must, I repeat you must put the time in yourself to practice. Sit Means Site gave us the tools and practice methods to be successful. On average my Chandler and I spent 2 to 3 hours a day practicing. On the weekends we spend even more time. Once we finished our classes, we continued to practice, the results were amazing. If you struggle with any aspect of your pets training, Sit Means Site is there to help. Our package included additional private lessons and group classes. The group classes are a great way to reenforce the training. We’ve taken a bit of time off from group classes, but we are planning on returning to return. Again, our results were amazing, and I was just stunned by how successful the training was. I can’t say enough good things about these people and I highly recommend using them.
