Do you offer training for a week to drop off dog at your location?
Hello Michael, thanks for reaching out! It sounds like you're describing a board & train program which we no longer offer. We have switched over to a day training model which is still immersive like boarding programs but are only 1 day a week for a number of weeks and you have a lesson with your dog at the end of the day training. We have found that day training is a very effective training format to not only fully train your dog, but gives us the opportunity to make sure that owners have all the tools they need to continue with training management, ultimately providing long lasting and reliable results. My schnauzer puppy is very vocal, barks ALL the time. However the staff here are very patient with my puppy and always offering suggestions to try at home. If you are looking for training I would definitely recommend sit means sit!

Everyone we encountered at Sit Means Sit (Northfield) was exceptional. I felt very comfortable leaving our Peanut (4 month old miniature dachshund) in their hands. Knowing how stubborn the breed can be, we began training early for her. With consistent practice, she was getting the commands. The trainers were all very responsive to our needs, based on the feedback we provided at checkin each week. They were patient with us, as well, as we developed more comfort with the collar and commands (come, wait, off, quiet, sit, place, heel, go). After the three all-day lessons in the Foundations package, I feel our Peanut has some skills developing that will keep her happy, healthy, and safe. We have skills that will help her with staying happy, healthy, safe and will help us keep clear boundaries and a calmer home.

It was my first time in any kind of dog training class and well I’m just as exhausted as my dog. They do really well explaining and coming around to give you pointers and also lift your spirits when you’re starting to feel discouraged. Thank you for expanding my mind and my dogs skill.
