Do you guys encourage people to go to large gatherings of people with their dogs off leash??? Twice during Stacy Daze I observed a dog advertising you company with their dogs off leash.
Isn't it illegal to have your dog off leash at the park in Stacy? Or are service dogs an exception?

Only approved dogs. Both dogs that were there off leas have had extensive training and have earned that privilege. Both dogs were fully under control and service dogs to their people. Please reach out if you have any other questions.

Tessie is a lifesaver! I was hesitant to pull the trigger with professional training until my German Shepherd’s aggression progressed & worsen. I heard of Tessie at Sit Means Sit through a friend and after I finally accepted that I needed help with training my dog, I scheduled my first session with Tessie. Immediately, my dog’s behavior and our bond improved greatly. Within 3 sessions, my aggressive dog was walking within 5 feet of other animals peacefully. And after two years of living with separating my dog and two cats , Tessie is helping me teach my dog to coexist with my cats. It’s a miracle! My dog & I would not be where we are today without Tessie! I have so much more peace in my life with my dog’s trust in me. With Tessie’s help, I’m confident that all of my animals will peacefully coexist soon. Training with Tessie is hands down one of the best investment decisions that I’ve ever made. Tessie at sit means sit has been wonderful. We rescued a malamute who was adopted/returned twice due to different reasons. In his almost two years of life, he never had a home to call his own. His behavior showed this, and Tessie gave us the tools we needed to help our fur baby learn and grow in his home!

Tessie has been working with my Doberman puppy and I. I’ve never been to a professional trainer so I wasn’t sure what to expect and it felt intimating to start. This is also my first Doberman and I feel a great deal of responsibility, having a high guard dog, to commit to training to ensure the safety of her and others. Tessie teaches at our pace and very clearly has a gift for working with animals. She provides clear direction and encouraging advice. I feel more confident each session and it has really brought my pup and I closer together. It’s been a very rewarding experience and I’m looking forward to advancing! A well deserved five star.
