Sit Means Sit Dog Training - East Central Minnesota

It's been a great experience working with Tessie to train our TWC. We were not expecting to add a dog to our family, but we found him and quickly decided to put him in training as we had zero knowledge about his previous life. Tessie has done a great job working with our pup, as well as us, to make his transition into our home smooth! We will do this again in a heartbeat if we add another dog in the future.

I adopted my canine friend Zeke earlier this year. He is a mix breed, who looks like a pitbull mix but we think he is an American Staffordshire terrier. He spent almost the first year of his life in rescue foster homes. He is not a really big dog but he is very strong & can be energetic, maybe even a little crazy when he gets the zoomies. I wanted to make sure that he would be responsive to me so that he would not frighten people or be an uncontrollable menace. I found Sit Means Sit Training to be the answer to my search to find the training that has helped me help Zeke become a fantastic companion. This was proven when I had to leave him with my daughter, her two dogs & my grandchildren for a few days. He played nicely with her dogs, not being in the least bit aggressive with them. He had contact with these dogs in the past but had never been on their turf without me. He was also very good with the children ( ages 11 & 8). In fact he just adores them both & has so much fun with them when they visit. He responded not only to my daughter but also to the children to any and all commands & requests completely. I was apprehensive about leaving him as he has mostly bonded with me, but he was the very best dog with them. The cost of this training is expensive but the results are very worth it. Tessie-the head trainer at the North Branch, Mn location- has an amazing ability with all dogs & can help you bring out the best in your dog. Her passion for what she does is amazing. I feel one of the best things Zeke has learned is how to be sociable with other dogs because of the groups training sessions. During the group classes no interaction or contact with other dogs is allowed. Because of this all the dogs feel safe & no aggressive behavior is allowed, so all the dogs can concentrate on learning the skills they need. Also due to that conditioning my dog feels no need to respond or be aggressive to other dogs we may encounter when on walks or anywhere on public. Sit Means Sit also provides private lessons. I cannot recommend them highly enough & have been very happy with the training. Jim H. Harris, Mn
