I really didn't know what else to do with my malinois obedience issues. Really found the most impressive team! From Maddie the office coordinator, whom is super attentive and just wonderful interpersonally. Tracey, the trainer that will always try to find how to work with both you and your dog, also making sure you are equipped for every step. Along with so many others that all contribute to your dogs training/ well being. The value that this place/ team brings is paramount, if you really want to see the full potential of your pet, don't hesitate!

I can’t say enough good things about Sit Means Sit and the impact they’ve had on both me and Killah. From day one, everyone there was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, patient, and genuinely kind. What really stood out to me was that they never made me feel small or judged for not knowing something, because I’ve experienced that in the past. They take the time to explain things in a way that actually makes sense, and they truly want both you and your dog to succeed. The tools and training they gave us have genuinely changed our lives. Killah used to be very reactive around other dogs. He had already made some improvement before training, but since going through Sit Means Sit, we’ve had huge wins that I honestly never thought would feel this manageable. One moment that really stuck with me was shortly after bringing him home from training. We turned a corner on a walk and unexpectedly ran into two reactive dogs on long leads. Instead of barking and lunging like he would have in the past, I used the tools we had been taught, redirected his attention, changed direction, and we calmly kept walking. No explosion, no chaos — just a successful redirect and moving on with our walk. It may sound small to some people, but for us, that was huge. I’m still so happy and proud every time I think about it. I’m beyond grateful to everyone at Sit Means Sit for giving me the confidence, knowledge, and tools to better communicate with my dog and help him succeed.

We also deeply appreciated their kindness during the recent Kona low storms—when we were displaced from our home, they continued to care for Jimbo at no additional charge. Sit Means Sit Hawaii is incredible!! Our 5lb yorkie Manju needed guidance because he was nipping our kiddos, pulling on the leash, had no recall, and was just kind of a wild guy. We did the program and I am so happy to say we've noticed a huge difference in Manju's behavior and interactions. It has been our daughter's dream to take Manju for show and tell at school and before training with Sit Means Sit, this would have been impossible. However, today she was able to bring him and he did beautifully! The teacher even commented that he was the most well behaved dog they have had. A dream come true for our daughter thanks to Sit Means Sit. The owner Scott is phenomenal, he let us text/call him with any questions we had and told us exactly what to do if we weren't sure how to handle something. Training with Sit Means Sit has truly been a gift for our family and for Manju!!

I adopted a Humane society pup, he's a year and a half and lmarched to the tune of his own drummer.I sent him to sit Means Sit, He pays atention to me, has no issues with other dog and actually has learned to ignore them to an extent and pay attention to me. As I continue the training at home he seems to be progressing even more, I can take him on a walk where before he used to take me on a drag. It is not a miracle transformation, you Really need to keep up the teraing after you take him home, Definitely worth it.
