Sit Means Sit Hawaii has trained 2 of our dogs, Buddy (about 18 years ago), and Lucky (in June 2025). The staff and program have exceeded our expectations both times. When we arranged for "re-training" with Buddy many years ago, we immediately realized that Buddy had retained all commands & responsiveness, it was US, the dog owners, who needed re-training! Recently, Tracy, Scott & Maddy trained Lucky and the results were incredible. Lucky, a rescue, had extreme guarding behavior, barking excessively, baring his teeth and growling sometimes. He pulled excessively on the leash, weaving back & forth, endangering himself and whoever was walking him. He barely graduated from training this week and we notice an extreme improvement! His barking has subsided and is proactively correctable with the skills we all learned at training camp. Lucky now strives to "heel" and is eager to please the person who is walking with him. Notice Lucky's "sit" at the end of this video, it's slightly compromised, since the concrete was wet from rain, but he made the effort, so we rewarded him with the "Good Dog" command. ;) We LOVE Sit Means Sit!
