We cannot say enough great things about our experience with Sit Means Sit. Before training- my husband and I were truly struggling with our Rottweiler puppy, Smash. All of the training tools that worked with our other dogs just didn’t seem phase our very stubborn boy. He seemed incredibly frustrated and we were exhausted. Once we started private lessons with Matt everything changed in the best way possible. Matt has taught us how to effectively communicate with Smash and that has completely changed our entire relationship with him. Smash is now full of confidence and loves learning new things. We now have an incredible bond with our puppy, and cannot thank Matt enough for all of his help! We look forward to starting group lessons!

Amazing experience with Miah. She was kind, patient and informative. I got everything I needed from the private classes and genuinely saw a difference and improvement each week. They conduct their business very professionally. All the hard work and cost paid off. I will say, the cost was up there but it feels worth it to me. Would highly recommend for professional and ethical dog training I’d listen to Sit means Sit.

I couldn't be happier with my experience so far with the crew at Sit Means Sit. I say so far becuase I've been working with them for 6 weeks and it's just the start of our journey. From day one, owner Matt was very understanding of my situation with my 4 year old Cane Corso. He had always been dog reactive but had started becoming people reactive, and that was the last straw. I couldn't keep managing our situation, I needed to start addressing it. He made it very clear from day 1 that I'll get out of the training what I put into it. I had worked with other trainers in the past and the issue we had was a lack of follow through and commitment from them when things didnt got to plan, that is not the case with Sit Means Sit. You've got support and a partner for the rest of your dogs life. We've been working with Matt F for the last 6 weeks and he's been awesome. He is extremely perceptive, patient, and has always been willing to go the extra mile. If he has a break inbetween appointments, he's willing to spend a little extra time, and he's quick to respond if I reach out inbetween sessions. After 6 weeks my dog isn't perfect and we still have a ton of work to do. But we now have the tools to keep building on what we've learned and the confidence to start going into more challenging situations. I can't wait to start group classes to continue our journey with this crew.

This was the best decision my daughter and I made as it relates to the training of our pet. We had Matt F. as a trainer and we could not be happier with the results. From day one he was extremely transparent about what the training would entail and what was expected of us. He builds a relationship with each dog he trains and his top priority is what's in the dogs best interest. He is easy to talk to and extremely helpful in problem areas. We have a large dog who is extremely reactive and with Matt's guidance and training, we now have peace of mind. Keep in mind, with this training it takes commitment and repetition on the part of the owner to continue this program at their home in order for this to be successful. We are now looking forward to the group training that we have access to for the life of our pet and are excited to continue to work with Matt F. He is the best in our opinion.
