Our most popular program is our Immersion Board & Train option, where your dog stays with us, is trained and then returned to you. These programs typically include one on one lessons and group classes to make sure you know how to continue and maintain the training that your pup has received with us. We do all the hard work for you!

This program is customized and designed to help you and your puppy progress successfully from puppyhood, though adolescence and on to adulthood. It starts by addressing some of the most frustrating and challenging issues with new puppies such as potty training; crate training; introducing your puppy to a leash; dealing with chewing and biting; etc. Then we continue with basic obedience and and any other specific challenges you are having.

Our Day Train programs are for training customized for your individual needs. You can tailor the Sit Means Sit system to focus on the areas that you and your dog struggle with the most. Your dog comes and trains with us while you are off at work. We do the hard work for you and your dog receives personalized one on one instruction from a professional dog trainer. After their day at school we get you up to speed with what they have learned. This program comes with one on one lessons and lifetime of follow up group classes.

Hi Anne! Yes, all training takes place in person at our facility in Tigard. Pricing varies depending on each pup, so we always start with a free consultation over Zoom first!

It depends on what you are looking for. They give you a free consultation to get an idea of what you are looking for. For my pup we did a 2 week board and train. $2100

We adopted a 3 yr old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who barks incessantly when a human or another dog comes near our/his “space”. He is very devoted to me and gets very excited and barks even when it’s time for a walk or potty. Train less barking?

My husband and I enrolled our rescue dog , Dallas. He is a very sensitive guy and afraid of most everything. He was starting to become a little snippy with strangers. Jessica explained this was due to him feeling anxious. Training was needed to make him feel confident and less afraid. Kaylee became our trainer. Of course Dallas was afraid. At first he wouldn’t pee or drink while at day training. By the end of the four days he was happy to see Kaylee. Kaylee not only worked training Dallas, she worked at training us on how to work with Dallas. Kaylee didn’t just move us along after the four days of training, she gave us two more individual training hours before we could move onto group lessons. We still have work to do with Dallas, but now we have the skills to keep working with him. We look forward to seeing even more improvement with Dallas. We are grateful for Kaylee and Sit Means Sit!!!
I’m so thankful for Sit means Sit! They did an incredible job helping us train our puppy. My goal was to have a dog that I could take anywhere, and with their help I can take him anywhere. We have learned so much working with Halle, she is wonderful. I’m very grateful they they are always a phone call away and offer lifetime support!

We took our 2 year old golden doodle Atlas here for a board and train. He was a very nervous and anxious dog when we would go out for walks. After they built a foundation and helped us learn the training techniques we’ve been able to enjoy taking our dog out on walks around the neighborhood and not have the previous barking and anxiousness. We are very thankful for all their help and can’t wait start tackling group class! Also the collar is a very helpful and useful tool that’s akin to a TENS unit muscle stimulator common in therapy settings for people. It stimulates the muscle in order to alert the dogs attention to the owner for a positive response rather than a traditional shock collar. Overall we extremely happy and pleased with our experience!
