We can’t say enough good things about Kerry. Our dog Bruce (6 year old Pyrenees mix) has been fearful his whole life, which led to a lot of behavioral issues. For years, we just tried to work around his triggers because we didn’t think true progress was possible. Kerry proved us wrong. Bruce was so reactive he couldn’t tolerate nail trims, baths, or even basic vet visits. He had to be fully sedated just to be examined. Rehoming was never an option for us—dogs like Bruce often don’t get another chance—but we also didn’t know how to help him. Kerry changed everything. With patience, skill, and so much compassion, she helped Bruce learn to wear a muzzle, get his nails trimmed, and even take a bath. All through training. No medication. No sedation. We’re finally seeing a calmer, more confident version of our boy, and it feels like a miracle. Kerry didn’t just help his behavior—she gave him a better life. There is always hope for your pups… you just need the right people. And for us, that person was Kerry.

Kerry was so wonderful and so patient with us and our french bulldog! He was having accidents and his door-manners were terrible (jumping all over our guests) and since getting onto the e-collar he's been a lot more obedient. Kerry even came to our home after his 2-week stay to help with the transition and has made herself readily available whenever needed. She is an expert and we are so appreciative!!

I was so pleased when I came across Sit Means Sit Dog Training on the way home from work. My puppy goes to work everyday with me and while he is good his barking and jumping weren’t good. Kerry definitely heard me when I expressed that I wanted Dunkin to be able to roam the office and be loved welcomingly by everyone and not jump. His leash skills were in need of help. She wasn’t kidding when she said let me train your dog for a week and your coworkers will say what a different dog! She is the dog whisperer for the south suburbs and I highly recommend her. Everyone has commended me for what an amazing puppy Dunkin has turned into. If you’re in need of an amazing trainer who makes you feel welcomed and like an old friend, Kerry is the person for the job!!!
