Dave is an amazing trainer and his method works. My 10 1/2 month old male goldendoodle was a rescue and came to Sit Means Sit as a lovable goofy puppy who jumped on everyone, as well as furniture, pulled on leash while walking and was distracted by anything that moved even leaves blowing in the wind. After my three sessions with Dave, Teddy is amazing. I can take him anywhere and he behaves. He listens to his commands and most importantly does not get distracted and nor does he pull any longer on our walks. Teddy is still the lovable goofy puppy, but I believe he is happier due to the training.
I actually would give Sit Means Sit 10 stars!! Thank you for all your help Dave with Teddy. It really made a difference in our lives.

Dave was awesome! My dog Baxter was very stubborn and fearful before we started the training. Literally after the first session, Baxter was like a new dog. He listened to my commands and I could see that he was becoming more confident. Baxter is a Shiba Inu and a lot of people say that they are very hard dogs to train, but Dave worked his magic! Not only did he train Baxter, but he also taught me how to train to Baxter so that we were set up for success for the long run. Highly recommend Dave and his program!

Dave did a great job with our dog, Daisy. She can be a difficult trainee and she was pushing us to our limits before our training. Dave worked wonders with her, however, and the training has made a huge difference in our lives. We can’t thank him enough for giving us back our sanity!

Dave is phenomenal. We have been working with my 1yr old over the past few weeks and I see so much progress. He has helped not just Lenny and I build a new kind of relationship where Lenny is learning “I love you, but you have to”. Never in million years did I think I could walk Lenny with his leash trailing and he would stay right by my side, come when I call him, and ignore others around us in public. We have more work to do, but I am confident we will get where we want to be with time, patience, and commitment. Dave is teaching me what I need to know to ensure Lenny is successful! He makes sure you’re comfortable as the handler and guides you every step of the way!

I met a dog Dave trained and knew he was the right person for me to call when I was having issues with my 7yr old mix breed dog who was pulling on the leash and charging people. She’s happier now and I’m happier too. Dave spent one day with her and then taught me how to take her to public places and have her under complete control. I have a puppy who he also helped me with. I completely trust his advice and professionalism. I can’t recommend him enough.
