We can't say enough great things. Our border collie rescue, Skip, has turning into a fantastic dog! We went from pulling uncontrollable walks, chancing after the cat, and too not comfortable around my 2 year old, to a loose leash, controlled dog we can trust around our son. We learned he was just never taught manners and probably not socialized. He's a great dog! I honestly don't understand the negative comments. The training is worth every penny and I feel they are so willing to go above and beyond. They even met us at the dog park to show us how we can teach him to train under distractions. Plus group training for life. We absolutely recommend them!

Terrible experience. Paid a significant amount of money for a 3 visit package and received 2 cursory visits at my home. The franchisee/trainer gave me a demonstration and a list of commands, some tips on training my dog, an electronic collar and a plastic "place" platform. Another trainer showed up abut a week later and provided some tips on the "come" command and stayed about 40 minutes. I went to a group class, where my dog basically sat on a platform for 30 minutes, took a break, and sat for 30 minutes more. While there, I inquired about when my third home training visit would be scheduled, but no one followed up. A subsequent call to them went to voicemail, which was later returned to my voicemail, and said "Hey John, what's up?" And that was it. Then I did more research and found a real dog trainer, who actually knew how to train a dog, and in 5 days, turned my dog's life around. If you want your dog trained properly, look past these people.

I highly recommend ‘Sit Means Sit’. Our 1 year old Golden Retriever, Comet, was out of control, jumping on everybody and everything. He would only listen to me if I had treats, none of my kids wanted to be around him and my wife refused to take him on a walk because he was so difficult to control. It got to the point that my wife and I felt that we made a huge mistake in bringing a dog into our family. About a month ago, we signed up Comet for a 10 day program at ‘Sit Means Sit’ and I will be forever grateful that we did. Comet was trained over the 10 days and the trainers taught my family how to incorporate their training at home and in public. Fast forward to today, my kids love to be around Comet, my wife jogs with him and I can either play or sit with him without him jumping all over me. We can’t speak highly enough of this company and the fantastic people who work there! Thanks to them and their training, we have a well behaved dog and our experience in raising him is much more positive than it was before!
