I recently had the pleasure of leaving my Lab, Astro, at Slater Kennels, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, William was incredibly welcoming and professional. It was clear he understood and cared for animals. Astro settled in quickly, and I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Slater Kennels to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring place to leave their dogs. Will went above and beyond to ensure Astro had a wonderful stay, and I’ll definitely be bringing him back for future visits!

Extremely pleased with the gun dog Jr. training we got from William. We live locally and picked him up our dog on the weekends. We had a few 1-on-1 trainings that gave us drills and the skills to handle our dog as well, which was great, and also gave the whole family opportunities to get involved with working bumpers and training our dog. William managed to get our wild GSP puppy into a well behaved and retrieving machine. I'd highly recommend Slater Kennels to anyone interested in training thier dog up. .

William had my black lab for the 2 weeks prior to teal season. I was having issues with general blind manners, and steadiness. William went over his overall plan and was extremely thorough when explaining his thought process and what he was going to do to produce what i was looking for. My expectations were high and he still managed to exceed them. He sent me over updates, and pictures, and when it was all said and done explained in depth exactly how he went through getting my dog ready for the season. Slater kennels took great care of my dog

William at Slater Kennels is absolutely amazing! Our English Black Lab needed a place to stay while we were on vacation and our friends recommended we check Slater Kennels for a board and train program. Our puppy was huge at 9 months (about 70 lbs) and would pull on his walks. It was getting difficult to manage, but ten days with William and he came back a near perfect dog. He is gentle and calm on walks and is more obedient than I ever thought was possible. Now we send our lab to William whenever we travel. I highly recommend William at Slater Kennels for any lab puppy training. We are so grateful!
