Smart Dogs offers a great service. My wife and I were way too busy with work and kids to train our very rambunctious 6 month old German Shepherd. We were pulling our hair out and even considered getting rid of the dog because we just couldn't manage. Jeff suggested a board and train approach where he would keep our dog for about a month, train it, and then instruct us on what to do when it went home. This included doing some follow up training sessions as well. It's been 3 months since Duke has been home and we can't be happier. Jeff gave us a blue print for how to avoid problems and manage our dog as he grows. He's a funny guy and put things in a way that we really understood. It was a fun experience for our whole family and we are totally following through with our end. I highly recommend Smart Dogs!

He's also very much about the dogs and is goal driven, he will help you with your dog to get the results you want, and he will put in the time as long as you will put in the time.
I took my rescue pup to him to help her overcome her fears and street dog mentality, to get some basic training, and to feel less anxious when I'm away. She's come a long way! Again, Jeff saw her individually and recognized and understood what would work for her. He's very much a pack leader and uses such a method on his dogs. I say he also understands people because he can tell when you're part of the problem, haha. You have to trust in the method to get the most out of it.
