Smart Start Puppies - Dog Training

The difference in my Roxy’s behavior is like night and day. Tony and Lucas have done a wonderful job helping us with her training! She’s young and big so we were worried that she’d be too much of a handful with my young nephews, but after a couple classes I wasn’t worried in the least. She went from being distracted and hard to guide to a polite good girl that’s eager to please and play. I’d happily recommend anyone take this class if you know your pup is a good boy/gurl and just needs the guidance to show it. We aren’t even finished with her classes yet and she’s already been doing amazing. I know I don’t have to worry about her behavior anymore because she know what’s expected and follows through. They’ve done a great job with her!

My experience has been amazing. I reached out to Tony after being overwhelmed from trying to train my two golden doodle puppies on my own, one of which was very reactive. I sent her off to puppy boarding and training and am now doing at home training with both and the difference in their behavior is night and day. The puppies are so much better behaved and on their way to becoming the best companions I could ask for. Thank you Smart Puppies!!

I can’t say enough good things about Smart Start Puppies. Our red Lab, Atlas, just came home after 8 weeks of in-house training followed by a 2.5-week board-and-train, and the difference is night and day. He came back confident, responsive, and genuinely happy—you can tell he was loved and worked with every single day, not just managed. What really set this experience apart was Tony. Not only did he do incredible work with Atlas, he personally flew him all the way up to Boston to deliver him to us. Who does that? It speaks volumes about how much this team cares about their dogs and their families. The communication throughout was excellent, and we always felt like Atlas was in the best possible hands. Atlas also had a phenomenal time being boarded at Arfington Pet Resort. He clearly had room to play, socialize, and just be a happy puppy between training sessions—he came back well-adjusted and not the least bit stressed. If you’re on the fence about board-and-train, this is the place. Tony and the whole Smart Start team gave us a dog we can actually enjoy living with, and they did it with a level of care and professionalism that’s rare to find. Thank you for everything!

I couldn’t thank Smart Start puppy dog training enough for their dedication professionalism and just overall quality. I found one of their promotions online and I call and someone immediately reached out to me went over the different programs. I had a major issue with my boxer leash control just not obey the basic commands. Now I have the dog of my dreams his name is lucky, but I am the one that truly is lucky that I get to enjoy my dog to the fullest
