Julie has done a great job with our “anxious” rescue dog. He’s making good progress and settling down. And the classes are fun! We take Beau for Basic Obedience and to Day Camp. Highly recommend her.
Smarty Paws is THE place to go for all things Canine! Very experienced trainers who have a true love for dogs. Julie is fantastic and we plan on taking our pooch through to Therapy dog certification training with her.

Nash has been attending Julie B.'s classes at Smarty Paws for a few months now, starting with Obedience Level 1, he just graduated from Level 4 and we will continue to train with Julie B. for as long as possible and every class she offers. She is a Gandalf the White level magician when it comes to training and coaching your pups and she has been a god send in helping Nash grow from a timid and anxious rescue pup with lots of potential, to a distinguished gentleman that I feel more than comfortable bringing with me anywhere and that he can handle any situation! In my opinion Julie B. is the best dog trainer/coach in all the land, probably the universe and even likely the mutliverse, and I can't wait to see where Nash will go from here! Thank you Julie!
I am so glad I decided to finally put my dog in to training. (Yes, finally he is now 4 years old) I thought I could train my boy on my own but there were so much contradictory info out there that I got confused and discouraged. With obiedience 1 and Julie as the trainer, I am amazed and thrilled that Charlie has made such an improvement. Julie is amazing and very patient.
