Speaking K9

I really can't say enough great things about the board and train program at Speaking K9 and I’m blown away by the results. Lindsey, Shayley and Amee are truly dog whisperers - knowledgeable, patient and genuinely invested in helping my dog succeed. To be honest, I was kind of at my wit’s end with my dog. He’s a sweet smart boy, not aggressive but very disobedient and highly reactive. Walking him on a leash was a nightmare and the constant barking (at kids on scooters, other dogs, people on bikes, you name it) was driving me bonkers. At almost six years old, I was afraid he might be a lost cause but after board and train he’s like a new dog. The difference in his confidence and behavior is remarkable. What impressed me most is how personalized the program is. Every dog is different and Lindsey tailored her approach to fit my dog's personality and learning style. While he was gone, we got frequent updates with pictures and videos which was really cool to see. When he came home, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to maintain the gains he made but Lindsey’s techniques are easy to understand, positive and effective. We've made incredible progress with obedience, leash walking and staying calm around distractions. I really enjoy taking him for a walk now. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking for professional, compassionate and results-driven dog training. My only regret is that I didn’t do it earlier. It has strengthened the bond between me and my dog and I'm so grateful for Lindsey and her crew.
