Speaking K9

Speaking K9 literally saved my life!!!! I adopted my first dog about 7 months ago, a rescue from the shelter. I had no idea what I was doing and I was in over my head, even though my dog is relatively well-behaved. Speaking K9 (specifically Lindsey and Shayley) have been there to answer questions, take calls, give advice, and help tailor their program and services to my dog’s needs. I cannot recommend anyone higher. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

There truly aren’t enough words to express how incredible Lindsey is. She is, without question, the best dog trainer you could ever ask for, but what makes her exceptional goes far beyond dog training. As an Army veteran, I’ve faced medical challenges that have required the support of service dogs, and Lindsey has personally helped me with three different service dogs throughout that journey. Each time, she brought unmatched knowledge, patience, and compassion. Most recently, I experienced one of the hardest losses of my life when I had to say goodbye to my absolute best friend and service dog, VooDoo. Losing him left a hole in my heart that felt impossible to fill. I struggled with guilt, grief, and the overwhelming fear that bringing another dog into my life would somehow mean replacing him. Lindsey helped me see something I couldn’t see on my own, VooDoo😢 could never be replaced, and he never would be. But healing doesn’t mean forgetting. It means allowing yourself to open your heart again. She poured her time, energy, and heart into training Selah, and her dedication went far beyond what anyone could expect, she personally flew to Wisconsin to help me build that bond with Selah. That level of commitment speaks volumes about the kind of person she is. In just 2.5 days, Selah and I formed an incredible bond, and I can already see the life-changing impact she will have. Lindsey believed Selah was exactly the dog I needed… and she was absolutely right. Lindsey doesn’t just train dogs, she changes lives, restores hope, and helps heal hearts. I will forever be grateful for everything she has done for me. ❤️

Speaking K9 came highly recommended by a relative and it was life changing! I did a 4 in-home lesson package for my 1 year old lab/aussie and I cannot recommend Lindsey & Shaylie enough! Maggie was having trouble with boundaries both inside of the home and out in public! I can now take her out and about me because she has the skills to remain calm and has a new found respect for me. I learned all the tools for Maggie and I to have a better relationship! Worth every penny! For all of your training needs look no further than Speaking K9!

Great place to have your dog training. I was very excited to meet such a very knowledgeable group of people to help train my dog Bella, Speaking k9 has helped my dog develop into a great pet. She loves being around other dogs and people. I’m advancing her to the next level with their help. Lindsey Ellis Director by far has devoted her life to ensuring you and your pet have the best experience. The board and training program is the best in Utah. Lindsey and staff have developed Bella’s performance to amazing achievement which is so noticeable to me and others she comes in contact with. Bella now can go out in public not be barking or causing chaos. Performs verbal commands easily now well behaved in retail, grocer stores and restaurants. I highly recommend having your pet board and trained with Specking K9 to me Lindsey Ellis is Utahs dog whisper.
