Special K9 Dog Training & Country Resort

We took our mixed breed dog, Hank, for aggression training with 24/7 boarding over a three week span. It was a big investment, but we really love him and felt he just needed some intensive training so that we could manage his big personality. He was terrified and aggressive to any other pup he met, he who would bully our other two dogs with bad resource guarding and would bark incessantly outside and inside. We were amazed when we went for our two-week check up to see him right in the middle of the pack, no muzzle on, with a smile on his face. We've had him back for a few weeks now and it's been a 180 degree turnaround. He's not only manageable, he's a dog we can show off! People are amazed when we take him to Home Depot at how well behaved and obedient he is. It does take time and patience to continue the training that was started at Special K9, but we've found it enjoyable and rewarding. Hank is more calm, loving and his food aggression is gone. He's the dog we knew was underneath all that anxiety and aggression all along. The staff and trainers at Special K9 are world class. We've also found a wonderful place to board Hank when we want to go on vacation, something we never thought would be possible before. Highly recommend!

I have been taking my Aussiedoodle to special canine for about a year now. They did a two week immersive training course with her and she loves it so much out there that she goes out once a week for doggy day care! It is so convenient that they come pick her up at the house in the morning and drop her off at night. She gets to continue to be socialized with other dogs and people. She can hear The van coming from around the block and gets super excited to go play with her dog friends. Highly recommend for dog training, kenneling while on vacation and doggy daycare for socialization
