Spot On! Dog Training

My experience at Spot On! with our 5-month-old, strong-willed puppy has been nothing short of transformative. From the moment I contacted the training facility, I was impressed with the knowledgeable and friendly staff. The owner was clearly experienced, understanding, and took the time to explain the entire process in detail. He made me feel confident in his approach, which is important when trusting someone with your fur baby. The customer service was exceptional throughout the entire experience. The trainers kept me updated regularly on my puppy’s progress and were always available to answer any questions. During the post training visit, the instructions for at-home practice were simple and straightforward to follow. The trainer provided me with a structured, step-by-step plan that I could easily maintain at home. They also gave me tips for reinforcing good behavior, which has made the transition back home smooth and successful. My puppy is now much more obedient and responsive, and I’ve seen a noticeable change in his behavior. Overall, Spot On! has been a fantastic investment in my puppy’s growth. The team’s expertise, outstanding customer service, and helpful maintenance tips made the entire experience valuable. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking dog training!

Mike came to our house and did a demo with Comet. Comet is fear aggressive so I was so worried that Mike wasn’t going to even take a chance on our 5 month old puppy. But after Mike grabbed the leash and worked his magic I started to cry because within 5mins Comet was listening and sat like a good boy next to Mike. The program is definitely an investment but we knew Comet needed more than what we could provide. So we agreed to the 7 day board and train. Drop off day finally arrived and I sat at the entrance of the driveway crying and almost ready to turn around and go home. The thought of leaving my puppy for 7 days broke my heart and how could I trust strangers to take care of my dog. BUT I sucked it up and told myself this isn’t about me, it’s about Comet. I walked in and the place was so clean and everyone was so nice! We went to the back room and talked things over. They showed me around and made me feel comfortable with leaving my baby with them. Before leaving I was told I’d get a text updated a day with a photo and small detail. The updates meant so much to me. I waited all day long just watching for the update! Pick up day finally arrived and my time spot couldn’t come fast enough. I was so worried my pup forgot about me. When we arrived we talked about how Comet did, what he did and everything he learned. When we finally got to see him, it’s like we never left each other and he was a jumping jelly Jean, so happy to see us. After being reunited, we were trained on how to train Comet so we could continue to work with him. It’s also great knowing that we have 4 follow up sessions a year for the rest of Comets life! So we will definitely take advantage of those. But to wrap everything up. Comet went into Spot On very fearful and a wild child. Comet left with more confidence. He seemed to grow up in a week. He turned into a pretty well mannered dog. He meet three new people this past weekend and did so amazing. (This was our biggest struggle before.) We will continue to work on his skills every single day. This was definitely money well spent. We absolutely love Mike’s team. I highly recommend you take your dog!
