FirstBarkRuby and I have learned so much from classes at St Pete Dog Works. Additional training walks have been a great help teaching us both how to achieve a comfortable loose leash walk even with distractions.

We had such a great time at our puppy training class, and learned so much. Our trainer, Debbie, was so friendly and helpful. Classes are small and intimate; an ideal setting to get the most out of the experience.
Debbie Welsh is an awesome trainer. I’ve never had a dog trained so well at such a young age.

Soft-coated Wheaten Terriers are among the most beloved family dogs and challenging breeds to train. I know what I’m talking about. We’ve raised five Wheaten terriers, and everyone was a handful, if not impossible, to train, except our current male Wheaten, number five. He wasn’t any wiser, but he did have one thing going for him that none of our other Wheaton’s had, Heather Morris, at St Pete Dog Works. Heather Morris, CPDT-KA, is their Founder and Trainer. She has extensive experience working with dogs, especially those needing special training. It’s been almost two 2-years since she completed his training, and we’ve never stopped practicing what she taught him and us. The bottom line, I highly recommend St. Pete Dog Works. It will make your dog become the pet you always dreamed of.
Heather's Urban Leash Manners classes were fun & so helpful for me & my small pooch. Classes were small and I always got personal help when I asked. Heather always had several practical techniques to try to find what worked best for me. It is really handy to have the written instructions to follow up as Milo & I are making progress on our walks.
