Stanfur'd k9 - Dog Training

We put our 1 year old adopted puppy Mogul into Jorge’s board and train program and it was a life saver. We adopted Mogul without knowing her history or backstory and about 6 weeks in we needed major help. The board and train program really helped us learn our dog, how to train her and also what WE needed to learn. We recently did a refresher board and train while we were gone for a vacation and it was great for Mogul. I don’t know where we’d be if we hadn’t found this program— I can’t recommend it enough!

I recently completed a six-week board and train program with StanFÜR’D k9 (George) for my dog Roxy, a 2 year old bernadoodle, who struggles with anxiety and reactivity around other dogs. Throughout the program, I received consistent feedback; voice messages, videos, and training tips that applied to our dog. and our close interactions together. George was clear about explaining the steps and progression that would help our dog stay calm and relaxed during our outings, as well as, back at home. By the end of the six weeks, my dog returned home calmer, more focused, and much better at handling triggers. George also provided me with detailed instructions and strategies to continue reinforcing the progress at home, which has made a huge difference in our daily life. I’m so grateful for the compassionate, and professional care my dog received, and highly recommend StanFÜR’D k9 for anyone with an anxious or reactive dog.

We recently rescued our dog, Mogul, our family’s first pet. She’s about 12 months old, a high-energy mixed breed (we think Australian Cattle/Collie/Husky), and likely didn’t get to fully enjoy her puppyhood. She was nipping and herding our young boys, which made them uncomfortable, and it was clear she needed structure and a strong training foundation. We spoke with several trainers, but none truly understood our needs or Mogul’s personality until we met Jorge. He genuinely listened, took the time to understand our goals, and walked us through his individualized approach. He was patient, answered our many questions over multiple calls, and explained how his Board and Train program is customized for each dog, with only a couple of dogs at a time so he can give them his full attention. While Mogul was with him, Jorge even fell ill, but he still offered to keep her longer to ensure she completed her training and was truly ready to come home. Today, Mogul has an incredible foundation and the structure she needed to thrive. Our boys cuddle with her daily, she no longer nips, she walks calmly with the whole family, and she responds to so many commands. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Jorge and couldn’t recommend him more highly!
