STAT K9 Training

We are so grateful for the loving care and training that Puka received for her two weeks stay with Tina. You could tell Tina cares about her students and understands their crazy quirks. It was also helpful that we could watch daily videos of Puka with her training time with Tina and also see how Puka socialized with the other dogs. When Puka came home it was very obvious that Tina had worked her magic! She was much better with commands and listening and a calmer pup. We are continuing to use her pointers when guests arrive. We highly recommend Tina to anyone looking for a very knowledgeable and caring trainer who has a love for dogs and wants them to be well-behaved with their family.

Teddy is a 15-pound poodle with a BIG attitude; he was very reactive, walking was difficult, I couldn’t open doors or windows, and he was getting a very bad reputation in our neighborhood. After trying several different trainers and online programs, we finally met Tina. Tina began teaching him alternative behaviors and that his nonsense was not welcome. She brought him home a different boy and then taught me how to keep the momentum going! Thanks Tina, this was a great experience!

StatK-9 training worked magic for our dog, Enzo. Enzo is a rescue, who we got at six months old. By DNA testing, he is predominately a herding dog, and mostly Australian Cattle dog. He had been born on the streets of rural NC, and he exhibited many feral tendencies. Compounding the problem, he is extraordinarily fearful of automobiles, which we suspect is from an unpleasant encounter with one. He is a smart and gentle dog, but he is anxious and energetic. He substituted playing fetch with a tennis ball for his herding tendencies, and he wanted to play for hours a day. More troubling was the fact that Enzo was terrified to be outdoors in anyplace other than our fenced in area. He would not walk on a leash and would cower on the ground anywhere near vehicles. Given all of this, his life was small. Stat k-9 Training had Enzo for three weeks. They took our fearful, anxious dog and returned to us a happy, more confident one. Enzo now walks on a leash in our neighborhood. He will play ball in our entire backyard, not just the fenced-in area. And he is much less anxious, overall. He now settles down much more easily and doesn’t need to be distracted with a ball all the time. Stat K-9 training has dramatically improved Enzo’s life, as well as our lives.

Attention!!! This is not a review of recent services. We took our year plus year old German Shepherd here because we were at the end of our rope, (I was over her, the rest of the family wanted another chance for her.). If you are looking for a solution for a puppy you love, but have trouble living with, this is your solution. Tina is an absolute master at what she does… trust the process. Our girl came back transformed, in a great way. Not broken or cowered, but simply more comfortable in her own skin, (fur?) It was worth the time and the money so that I could share my home with a dream dog that Tina helped give the skills, both to us and the dog, to be one of the most important parts of our family!
