DJ and her team are amazing! I am a first time dog mom to a now 18 month old Pitbull, who is also very stubborn. We had tried 2 personal trainers starting when he was 2 months old. We struggled with the trainers not listening to our concerns and Murphy's behavior was not getting better. We were at a breaking point. Our vet recommended STK 9. Murphy was away for 3 weeks, which was really hard. I can tell you it has been so worth it. Murphy has settled down a lot. The barking is minimal and he is doing much better with the other dogs in our community. Our neighbors have also noticed and commented on the positive changes. The staff helped me gain confidence with Murphy. He is an adorable pampered pooch, who knows how to push my buttons. If I have had any questions since Murphy came home, they respond to my emails texts and phone calls immediately. I highly recommend them!

SKT9 was recommended by a colleague and our veterinarian. I couldn’t ask for a better experience for our family and our GSD Sam. Though it took some time to get him placed in an On-leash behavioral modification obedience course they stayed in contact with me every step of the way, up to and throughout the course. SKT9 asks all the right questions and ensures they modify your dogs behavior to the needs of your family and what’s best for your dog. Since having Sam back we work with him daily on the training we received and look forward to an even better living environment for our family. Our reactive dog, Louise, just got back from a board and train on leash behavior modification training. We have seen tremendous results. As is the case with any training, it is up to us to follow through and practice daily, but we had a situation this morning that was a perfect set up and excellent result from our training. As we were on the driveway practicing with our dog, here comes the Amazon truck. Normally a huge trigger for our giant schnauzer. But instead of going inside, we did exactly as we were taught. We put her in a down stay, and remained calm. Our old dog would have lunged and barked awful. However she stayed in her down stay, and we treated her with rewards as we were taught. As long as we implement the training practices every day, she is a different dog. As with any training, follow thru is key. But we have learned amazing techniques and we have a different dog. Thank you STK9! We will be planning ahead to enroll in off leash board and train, hopefully this summer!

We interviewed many dog training companies and STK9 by far exceeded any of the training companies we met with. D.J., Samantha and Danielle (just to name a few) are so incredibly knowledgeable with dog behavioral issues. We were going to have to give our Aussiedoodle away because he had major issues with my husband. After our dog went to behavioral camp for several weeks at STK9, he came back a completely different dog. My husband and our dog our now best friends!! I highly recommend sending your dog to STK9. It is worth every penny!

The first time I met the STK9 training group I knew I had the right place. They are wonderful people dedicated to the animals they work with plus they help train the owners! They go above and beyond to make sure you and your dog work as a team and accomplish whatever goals you have requested. My dog adores them and is always so happy to see them - that to me shows how they care for him. If I have a question or concern, they are ready to help me work on it or give me the answers. I strongly recommend them to anyone who wants to improve dog behavior and manners.
