Stonnie Dennis truly understands dogs. He is a gifted teacher of both dogs and their owners. I had zero background in dog training and learned so much through his videos and working with him on his farm. My Golden Retriever pup is unbelievably well-trained and I truly enjoy working with my puppy and taking him anywhere I can. Worth every penny and every minute spent. Thank you Stonnie and family!

Stonnie is a gifted trainer (dogs and humans) who puts in the work and gets the results. First off, biting was corrected within 5 minutes of watching the online courses as part of the Gentlemen’s Retriever package. I feel you cannot have the relationship you want with your dog until you have a proven and tested system to deal with ANY rude behavior. You will get this with Stonnie’s approach. We cannot say enough about Stonnie’s operation. His is a true family run business, hands on and committed to each and every pup they work with. We appreciate the journey starting with the online portion, setting a foundation and getting prepped for when you actually drop your dog off for their month long adventure with Team Dennis. Stonnie took lots of time with us in the front side at drop off as well as an open door at pick up for hours, so we could walk dogs, get re-acquainted with our dog and was able to get some real live application to the things we have been learning in becoming an ambassador trainer for our dog for the rest of his life. We’ve seen already that the journal we keep, Stonnie stays completely engaged before, during and after our dogs time at Kentucky Canine. With this program, the more you give, the more you get.

I had been viewing Stonnie’s videos on YouTube for about six months. What drew me to him was his philosophies on how to train. He bases his program on “. . . . Rewarding the absence of negative behavior.” Love that concept. I then purchased the training video series with the Google Doc that we shared throughout my training. I logged in my journal daily for months, then weekly (my guy is a seven month old yellow lab). Videos on loose leash walking, fetch (like a rockstar my guy does), behavior erasing (by six months he stopped counter surfing and jumping on people), house training (at three months was house broken), and many many more. One thing Stonnie stresses was getting the pup so well behaved that when he went to the vet he’d be so wonderful and compliant. He saw the ophthalmologist two weeks or so ago who told me “. . . This is the best pup- he is so good he makes my job easy” and the vet today (he’s hospitalized due to intestinal issues) who called and said “. . . . He is the best lab I have ever seen and I’ve had labs- so well behaved, you did a great job.” I say hurry and purchase his videos. WELL WORTH IT :)
