Me & my frenchies experience with Strategic K9 was THE BEST! This was the first time I've had to send my dog out for training & I am glad I did with these guys 👏. The entire time he was away Michelle was Best! She was able to answer all of my questions & concerns. Kevin has a Great passion for dogs & is truly the BEST at what he does! I adopted a 3-year-old Husky mix with zero manners. I knew I was up for a challenge with her walks and wanted her to be a well-trained dog. I searched for trainers and came across Strategic K9 Training. The first meeting was to see how our dog (Aspen) was and what we would mostly need to work on. I knew I had found the right guy when Kevin showed me what his dog could do. They offer different training methods that will best work with you and your dog. I chose the Board and Train for three weeks. There were two meetings with us and Aspen to show us what she has learned and to teach us how to continue this when she comes home. During the three weeks, Strategic K9 Training provided updates, pictures, and videos of the training. I never felt that Aspen was unhappy or unsafe during her stay with them. If you know anything about a Husky, you know they are independent and like to pull on walks. Her walks are now a dream! No more pulling!! No more sore hands! I am no longer frustrated after our walks. She now knows place, sit, down, stay, heel, leave it, and more. I can walk with her and let go of the leash, and she will remain by my side. I could never do this on my own. I am very pleased with the outcome, and I have never regretted this decision. After you complete the training, you are invited to Park Class to refresh the training. I have yet to participate in a class, but as soon as I can, I will sign up for one. I look forward to many, many more stress-free outings with Aspen! My dad had found Strategic K9 training & sent it my way because it looked like they trained a lot of German shepherds. We struggled to find a perfect trainer for our pup. Not a single trainer during the evaluations wanted to see Dece out of his crate until Kevin! His exact words were “I want him to bite me” and my parents and I thought he was insane. He took a hold of Dece during the evaluation & we have never seen Dece obey a stranger or get used to a stranger so quick before. We knew form that moment Strategic K9 is the training facility we wanted. Dece is 4 y/o shepherd with high anxiety & reactivity. He went with strategic for the 3 week board and train & he has shown so much growth and trust in others since then. I’ve been able to take my dog out to various places to sit and eat at restaurants or sit and enjoy my coffee at a cafe. He’s able to walk in big crowds & look to me for guidance and not in fear. Kevin has brought out the confidence my pup needed to restart his new life. We are so grateful for strategic k9!!!

I regret choosing Strategic K9 Training LLC. The experience was a complete disappointment from beginning to end. The training techniques seemed outdated, and the trainer was completely unresponsive to my concerns or questions. My dog ​​seemed more stressed at the end of the session than when we started. Despite paying for a package of lessons, I saw no improvement in my dog's behavior. Customer service was unhelpful, and I felt like I was just another transaction for them. Save your time and money and look for a more professional and attentive service.
