Question on Google
How do you stop dogs from pulling on the leash, especially during hikes or walks?

Yes! The best thing you can do is start puppy training early. Your puppy is always learning—so the sooner you teach them boundaries, communication, and leadership, the easier it will be as they grow. Question on Google
What is the difference between obedience training and trust-based training?

Obedience training focuses on making the dog comply with commands, often without addressing the root cause of behavioral issues. Trust-based dog training, on the other hand, looks at why a dog is acting a certain way and teaches them through communication, leadership, and relationship-building. This leads to lasting behavioral change instead of just quick fixes.

Working with Alex at Strong Bond Dog Training has been very fun and rewarding. I was on the hunt for a dog trainer who could help me develop the type of relationship that I always dreamed of with my dog, Teddy. I used to envy people who seemed to speak dog, you know when you see a dream team and it's like "how does that dog listen soo well"!  I knew that is what I wanted. His approach has changed how I view my relationship with dogs. After a handful of sessions, I now see how becoming a "pack leader" can transform my relationship and help me achieve the trust and communication I was always trying to obtain. Gone are the days where I feel like my dog Teddy was the boss! To my surprise, the tools I have developed have rippled into my human relationships. I find myself making less assumptions and challenging my own reactions/perceptions now. Teddy is much happier now and so am I, thank you Alex and Strong Bond!

Olivia is a rescue and 13 years old. Alex has helped us with various quirks like fear of going up the stairs, barking with separation anxiety in a new home and other tools to feel confident taking her with me everywhere. He has helped BOTH of us! His training just makes sense.

My husband and I had a great experience with Strong Bond. They showed us techniques that really work, taught us how to play fun games with our dog, and provided us with videos for future reference. Best of all, our dog loved every minute of her training. Thanks Strong Bond!!
