First and foremost there was never further communication, no return in phone calls or texts. We showed up for the one week training review and were told we couldn't see our dog, we were set to deliver our child one week later so this was important to us! The word "okay" should never be a release command! human instinct when approached by a dog is to put our hands up and say okay. we have a dog that has unpredictable behavior and by human nature he hears his release command from strangers from co-workers from family several hundred times a day on accident!!! This allows for enabling his negative behavior in which now we are training to be undone! We have been waiting quite a while to write our review and there's many reasons why. We paid for the two weeks stay per Chris's recommendation plus an additional$300 for aggression training. Our dog allegedly did NOT need aggression training from Chris Carr but NO refunds!!!!!!!! Now, upon further investigation and review of the facilities training methods and behavior towards dogs, it is no wonder that our dog came back MORE aggressive and MORE confused! Any true and thorough trainer of any animal would know not to put a e collar on a dog with unpredictable tendencies. However, one was used on our dog as well as a prong collar! Prior to boarding we had advocated for our dog that we wanted a gentle and kind training method to be used as we knew that anything other than that could harm our dog's ability to trust us. Chris verbally agreed to this in our home. The dog we received back had a tail tucked between his legs and was very fearful, peed when approached, could no longer be around other dogs or animals and he had extremely high bite unpredictability! We entrusted this facility with our family member not just a dog but our family member. Our dog was a puppy when he went in, we had him fixed as indicated that he had to be as well as completely updated on all vaccines medications supplied all of his food along with the list of commands that he knew and our personal request to use gentle and kind training methods. We exercised our dogs rights on paper and verbally, this was all ignored. As indicated in the aforementioned paragraph we have thoroughly investigated the facility and the people that are employed at this facility it has come to our attention that the dogs are left for hours upon hours by themselves they are not suitable conditions that are shown in pictures. You cannot visit without a scheduled appointment time either one because no one is there or two because the conditions are not suitable. they do not warn you advise you and or ever tell you that they use e collars to shock your dogs into being scared to listening to you. We have since opened a case with the better Business bureau as well as a small claims court case in hopes for a refund of not only the $300 for services not provided but for a full amount back for services that have caused so far what seems to be permanent damage to a living breathing being and this being happens to be our dog in our family that we were instructed personally not to love on or we would ruin him. After reading the several negative reviews that you come across if they have not deleted them, in which we were instructed by the female worker there that she had removed some comments, you still happen to higher Chris and his facility for their services I wish your dog well! We continue to work with Enzo and have high hopes for his outcome!
