Summit K9

I have used a few services (personal training, group classes, and daycare) from Summit K9 and they have all been great. Ziggy is high energy but also can be very anxious and tends to be nervous of new places and faces, so he would not do well in a typical doggy daycare. I am so happy I found this place, it has been a life saver. The day care is top notch. The staff are all so kind as well. They have structured play time (not a free for all) and that’s exactly what he needs. They also work on obedience training at day care as well. Finding what motivates Ziggy has been an ongoing struggle and the trainers/day care staff have been so good about trying different things to keep him engaged like games, treats, toys, and affection to see what works best for him and are always giving me updates on what has and hasn’t been working. There are also small group classes you can pick up one at a time to continue to work on things they have been working on at daycare and those have been super fun as well. I can’t say enough good things about this place and it is the only doggie daycare I would trust with the care of my nervous/reactive guy.

I love the experiences we are having with Summit K9. Their daycare is unequaled anywhere and we have been to several. Our dogs get excellent care, socialization and Enrichment. Enrichment is key. My dogs have went from spazzes coming out of day care to calmer than I have ever seen them. I noticed a difference in my 7 year old lab after his first visit. Now every visit just adds another level of improvement in his growth. I am starting my 7 month old in enrichment daycare as well. We are also enjoying Scent detection. It is amazing how quickly our dogs are improving at not just the task but the commands and patience that go along with this. It is truly rewarding.
